I'm really not getting used to this new version
Outside, my hens laid an egg - first since Sunday. Getting too old.

What do you view the forum on alfie? The new format doesn't seem to have affected my conventional 'puter and 22" screen, but I thought they'd changed to be more phone and tablet friendly? The new formatting seems easier on my eyes than the new version of the old one, if you know what I mean. I was still on the green one.If you know where to fiddle, you can probably alter the way MSE looks in Windows too. Just Google 'accessibility options.'Just back from a meeting in the little town where someone wishes to start a new drama (Panto? ) group. Average age of those who turned up probably about 70 .....3

Oh I am so tired of this weather! I have a massive allotment waiting to be dug over and a stack of garlic and onions that need to be planted out.Taking responsibility one penny at a time!6

It's never stopped raining or blowing a gale for months. Even the dog sort of sighs when we go out in the torrential rain. It's a bog here & nothing doing outdoor wise at all apart from feed sheep & get some wood in.5

I'm not going to grumble about our weather; while it's not been great, we've had nothing like the experiences of others, up country. We'll pay for the lack of frost too. At least the aquifers will be full again after the two dry summers.Used the wet weather to finally add mains power to the polytunnel; not for the small propagator which I stick in my den/boiler room, but mainly to run a proper sound system.Yesterday, a man in a van put up a 'sold' sign on the verge belonging to Horse Woman (any on our verge rapidly fall over in the wind!
) which surprised us, as the EA didn't appear to have any property among the sold stuff on their web site. I rang them and they confirmed it wasn't a mistake, but they wouldn't say what had sold. This can only mean our neighbour next door to the mini wood has finally sold 'secretly.' A secret? Here? He won't be pleased to see the sign. It may not only fall over, but disappear completely! smiley:

Funny business with the For Sale sign. I think they use them as adverts - there's a company that do that here - quite aggressive & they put up sold signs when the property hasn't - or at least they did that on one here.
Gorgeous photo Lucielle. Lovely chilled out pup pup. And Mum looks like she is happy to have a kip.
Sunny to day in between hail & sleet showers. Feels really cold. Electric shorted out last night which turns out that it was the immersion heater.

He shouldn't put them on either verge, as they're privately owned, and they may reduce visibility. We use that bit of our verge to sell from, so we don't allow the signs there. It's up to Horse Woman what she does on her side; it's not like they're needed in these internet/sat nav days.Super photo composition, lucielle. Impressive depth of field too; you must have a very bright room there! The theme is still wet & windy here. I have the joy of a new computer to configure anyway. This one is getting slow and cranky. The 'new' one was built in 2016 and does look new, outside and in, so I doubt if it's been updated.
Not a bad eBay buy for £130 when Dell are still selling similar ones for around £450. Wonder which lorry it fell off the back of!
