Indeed. There's nothing to worry about it. Tens of thousands of people transit through Doha every day without problems, and many of those don't have your advantage of speaking English, as that is what the airport is set up to do. In the unlikely event of your incoming flight being delayed then they will put you on the next service.

So, stop worrying and enjoy the trip

Absolutely - the crew make a flight IMO.

I have flown Qatar a few times (J and Y) I have to say with the exception of one flight, the crew were nothing to write home about and ground services moreso.

Doha was a hell hole, however, I will have the 'pleasure' of trying out their new hub shortly - with a tight connection.
