Travelling soon to Australia via Dohar with Qatar Airlines.
We have about 1 1/2 hours to transit the airport to connect with flight to Perth.
Has anyone else done this and how long does it normally take as a bit concerned about time to get actually get off 1st plane, etc.

You may be ok. How long is the wait for the next flight to Perth?Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

Apparently we will be bussed to the transit area desk and have to go through Security again before moving on to Perth departure gate.
In other words, from one end of the airport to the other!0 -
I don't see the problem. They will not let you miss your flight.0

As above, if the transfer wasn't feasible then they wouldn't have sold it to you in the first place.
And though it doesn't really matter, it's bothering me for some stupid reason - it's Doha!0 -
Qatar airways has in the past sold tickets with very short transfers, some as short as 35mins.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

You should be fine - your luggage may be a different story.
Qatar are pretty good at tight transfers but it wouldn't take much of a delay to cause issues with your connection.0 -
I was at the new Doha airport a few weeks back and it is easily one of the best and most efficient airports in the world.
Qatar is the best airline in the world in my opinion, so forget about any experience you have had on any other airline and look forward to a seamless transition from the UK, to Doha and on to Australia whilst experiencing the best economy seat in the sky coupled with the best service you could ask for.0 -
Ive had better service from both BA and Emirates.
It depends on the crew I suppose.0 -

Emirates is a brilliant airline and easily in my top three so I can see where you are coming from.
But BA. Really? The last BA flight I took was on an ancient plane and filled with surly staff who were about forty years each past their menopause but still with the attitude that for most men only rears its head for a few days each month.
And, having flown BA many many times (mainly European, occasionally long haul) I have to say they are no more than an average economy product on planes as old as I am.0 -
All the airports in that area are designed specifically for transit passengers, they are very good are getting people between flights0
