Popped into my local '3' store today to enquire about a 'MiFi' as have got to sell a lot of stuff for my mum and it is easier to do whilst at my parents (who have no internet).
The agent who dealt with me informed me that my contract was due an upgrade. As I have purchased my own mobile to replace the one they supplied, I have managed to drop my monthly tariff from £25 p/month down to £16 p/month, so am well pleased with that.
Have also managed to pick-up 2 pairs of jeans from charity shops for the grand sum of £5.75.Never Knowingly Understood.

Not a lot to report here ...... Maisie's UTI thankfully seems to be on it's way out :j took a sample along to the vets this morning and it's clear
She's still really tired but I guess they're like us and can get the stuffing knocked out of them when they're ill - and she's getting older now so it's bound to take longer to recover when ill
We did manage a 'proper walk' today - 1st since Monday!
Been horrifically windy here today and loads of trees down everywhere - was really worried leaving my car when we went for our walk (the beach was out as it would've been horrid with the sand blowing around!) but thankfully it was OK!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Will like to update that I've added £50 to my emergency fund to kick start. I'm due to be exchanging and completing on our new home, so I'm hoping when it all quietens down, I can then build my fund.0

Haven't saved anything this month due to circumstances but haven't had to pull the whole lot across either which is where I thought I was at the start of this month. So that is a blessing." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

*worried* think my fridge freezer might be on the blink
Just went to get an ice cream (to share with the dog - it's roasting!) and it was squashed / soft ..... tried another - it was also 'squishable'
Not quite sure what's going on but I've taken the 'good stuff' (chicken breasts / some salmon steaks I got on offer / turkey steaks etc) and put them into the outside freezer
Sadly, I haven't got enough room to get everything in there - although at least I've squeezed the above in (usually both are packed full but I've been trying to run them down so I can defrost the outside one!) but at least if it's just veg / fruit etc that I lose ...
Just been to check the receipt and it's only 3.5 years old - and it certainly wasn't a cheap one!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

It might just be the thermostat gone. Had that on my first fridge-freezer. Took the engineer 10 minutes to diagnose and replace.
Might be worth getting an engineer to look at it as it might be cheaper to repair than to replace.Never Knowingly Understood.
