So Confused - G24 Contractual Parking Charge Notice
Comments
-
Ignore G24 - as I've mentioned they are lying scum ( and they no longer belong to the BPA ). Now Lasalle on the other hand ..... some fun to be had !
Dear Lasalle,
It is surprising and disappointing you haven't even had the professionalism or politeness to respond to my previous complaint of <insert date> regarding your contractor G24. It might be worth highlighting to you that as your contractor you are legally liable for their actions under UK law. As such, should G24 take legal action against the registered keeper, the registered keeper will request that Lasalle are brought before the court as a joint party at any hearing.
For the avoidance of doubt, the registered keeper and the law holds Lasalle responsible for any harassment by G24. This may well result in legal action against Lasalle by the registered keeper. You should now :
a. Confirm receipt of this complaint
b. Explain why you ignored the original complaint
c. Instruct G24 to cancel the charge
Should you not do so then the registered keeper reserves the right to :
1. Bring a court claim for harassment against Lasalle
2. Advertise via the use of flyers and the internet Lasalle's use of G24 and the consequences to drivers and local businesses
3. Generally ensure that the Lasalle business is brought into disrepute
The ball is in your court. It is you that have contracted a corrupt and lying company and it is therefore you that is to be held ultimately responsible.

Send a complaint email to the BPA if you appealed and got no reply from G24. See post #6 of the Newbies thread. Make it clear the parking event was when they were in the BPA AOS scheme so you know you are entitled to POPLA.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Firstly Happy New Year to everyone.
I contacted Lasalle with the letter Hotbring kindly gave, but needless to say they have still not replied, downright ignorant.
I also contacted BPA and got a reply from AOS on 9/12/14 stating they were contacting the parking operator and when they get a response they will contact me again.
Now, I am not too sure if this is a success or not, but out of curiosity I put the details into payyourcharge, and got the following "Unable to find your Parking Charge Notice, verify your details and try again".
I myself visited B&M this week, even though I feel like boycotting them, but I mentioned the fact that as registered keeper of a vehicle I had received a PCN, I was told that anyone who gets a PCN just needs to take this with a receipt showing they have purchased instore, and they will get this cancelled, which I was going to do next week, but am not sure what to do now, as I don't want to rock the boat.0 -
Do it!

Thank you to all that offerred advice.
AOS has contacted me again to say G24 had technical difficulties with their online appeals service and have now cancelled this charge. Right, so letter received yesterday from G24 advising this charge had been waived, BUT today have received a debt collector letter from CCSCollect, so sorry one last question (hopefully), do I need to contact CCS or just ignore this.0 -
You can ignore CCS - it was probably sent in parallel with the cancellation. Wouldn't hurt to write to them with a copy of the cancellation though.0
