Not sure what you do if it hangs, the H1 had a reset, no sign of one this, might be a pushbutton combination.
Found this, don't know if it helps.

Note this applies to HUDL 1 and NOT the HUDL 2, H2 does not apparently have screen reset.0 -
exactly. is this option hiding somewhere else on the hudl2? is there a hudl2 forum?0

Have been round most of the settings and no screen reset found.
As to H2 forum, nothing found specifically, there are a number of Hudl ones around.
There was a hudlforum .co .uk but seems to be defunct.

As a matter of interest, how do you reset the whole device?0
-
Settings - scroll down to Backup & reset - bottom option Factory data reset should do it.
If not try - at your own risk !!!!!!!!
BECAREFUL WITH THIS !!!!!!!!!!
Power off unit - hold volume up down and THEN hold power down - when logo apears release both , you then will get a new screen with options, second line says wipe data/factory reset, use volume up/down to highlight action required, then power button to start the selection.0 -
I have found that the screen works well with fingers, it is very iffy with a stylus that works well with the H1, I have tried two types, the standard rubber type tip and the micromesh tip and neither work well on H2, micromesh marginally better than the rubber tip one.
I went to Tesco and tried on their demo units and the same insensitivity showed, however I tried using the Tesco stylus and that works fine.
It would seem that if you want to use a stylus then the cheapy Ebay ones may not work very well.0 -
I have watched bbc iplayer on the Hudl2 via google desktop no probs. However when I try to watch itvplayer the same way, it won't let me, keeps displaying the app and prompting me to use that instead.
What if I don't want to watch via the app but want to watch it via google, shouldn't that work if I am using the Google browser?0
