Beware EE /Tmobile !

On the bank statement it is coming up EE - Tmobile the same as orignal contract - have just emailed his brother to write to them explaining the situation . Thankyou for all input x
I understand that. However, just because EE is the service/billing provider doesn't necessarily mean they sold the additional contract. Obviously they might have but that's what I am trying to determine. If it was another dealer (places like carphone warehouse and other independent dealers often call customers saying they are working on behalf of EE) then you would need to be contacting them.0 -
You keep mentioning that your partner is disabled and on benefits so money is tight. I don't understand why the need for an expensive phone contract. I'm happy paying taxes for people less fortunate than me, but not when it gets wasted. I don't have spare money for many luxuries, even after working overtime.0

As it goes up until 2011 he worked a 70 hour week plus 24 hour call out hes paid in - over the years and has done loads for charity , he was put in a wheelchair not through choice - he cannot do much else apart for be on pc as he is unable to move , he doesnt have anything else and doesn;'t drink or smoke , if the home phone is out its his only means of communication , he has paid plenty in taxes over the years and paid in for later life - not about him having an expensive contract or not , just angry they are taking money ontop of what they are already getting and nothing to show for it - and hes still having to pay extra for care - agreed some people screw they system he is not ! he would much rather be working than be in the position he is in -0 -
Listen to what people are saying, just because you are paying EE now doesn't mean they sold you the phone. It could be ANY DEALER, they just happened to sell you an EE contract...
I far as I was aware we had from EE , will just have to see what the out come is .... as you say could have been sold from someone else , I dont know just want it sorted got enough to deal with . Life use to be so much more simply than it is now - hey ho x0 -

Without sounding harsh, I don't think OP completely understands this and I think we have hit a brick wall there. I know it may not be the case it was a third party dealer, but if it was, it is so pointless either OP, her partner of the brother keep contacting EE about it.
I do hope you get something sorted though OP because it sounds like whoever sold this, did not explain properly.0 -

I agree, not wanting to be judgemental, I think the OP gets some support with this from somewhere like Citizens Advice as it is clear the OP needs help with getting things clear in their head and putting things down on paper.
I also hope it's sorted as it sounds very stressful.0 -
If it was sold to OP's partner / bil by a third party then EE/TM will have that info on their system. The bil should phone and ask for the info so they will know where to start. If EE/TM won't help to get this sorted out then the bil should ask to escalate the complaint and speak to a manager. OP needs to get this sorted asap as they obviously can't afford to keep paying two contracts. Does the bil have a receipt from the couriers for the phone he sent back? Can't see how they are being charged when the phone (plus any paperwork) was sent back immediately upon receipt.0

Thankyou for all your help - being looked into will let you know their response, bank has refunded money back into account but direct debit cannot be stopped at the moment , hopefully it will all be sorted out shortly - Should be being put back into partners name, once contract is up as suggested think will stick with Pay as you go !! least we know whats going where - Thanks again x0
