    Week 12 - Day 3

    Evening diary.
Still struggling to get back on here. Struggling to get out of bed and off the sofas most days
I feel so lazy when I can't get myself motivated to do anything :( I don't know why poor DH puts up with me.
Still not much in the way of ver time at work.
On the plus side we're about 1/3 of the way through the holiday payments now. Will be lovely to get past the mid point and be going down the other side :j

    Week 13 - Day 6

    Hello diary.
Well hopefully my mood is on it's way up again :)
Overtime is back at work and I've been pulling a fair few shifts to make sure end of month pay is better. Flexible working is not good for your sanity!
Opened up the savings jar in the kitchen for a quick count (can't believe it's been going 4 months  , there's over £500 in it, we're doing really well :j
Had a phone call from the travel agent to say we can now prepay for the food for our hols, that's gonna cost us £750, but luckily the intention was to use the money from the savings jar so that's nearly covered already :) plus we have until the end of the year to pay that.
Debts aren't looking great, but to save my sanity I'm going to stop worrying about them for a month or so. Will re-evaluate them in the summer holidays I think.
Kids are off school again soon, hopefully I've powered through enough overtime that I can afford to have some spare days to chill out with them :)
Thanx for swinging by Abba, hope you're keeping well xx

    Week 14 - Day 3

    Hello diary.
I'm doing well on the overtime front at the moment, end of the month should be a good pay day. Even OH is getting in on the action :D
Hi Dawnybabes, I haven't filled in any dla forms yet as I don't know if we should. At the end of the day he's our Son and we've always just coped with him. I know we'll probably get down so dunno if more stuff even worth trying.
Opened up the savings challenge jar, there's well over £500 in it (closed it back up). One of the kids had been putting some money in each week and that now needed cashing out. They were dead chuffed to find they had £50 in there :j
Better try and go sleep, need some ear plugs for OH snoring :D

    Hello diary.
Well my plan to get back on here more often didn't work
Thought I'd swing by with a quick update.
Working all hours under the sun trying to earn extra money.
Debts not really going down :( but luckily not increasing either :)
Will pop back on with a new plan for what we're going to do later in the week :)

    Good morning diary :)
Almost halfway through the year, and halfway through the big bills we've got coming out.
Will pop back later to do a calculation of what we owe.
Went on the wii fat at the weekend so have given myself a starting point for losing some weight again (best thing was I hadn't put any on, still below 15st :j)

    Hey Abba.
Wow, that's amazing :T wish I could lose all that!
I lost a load of weight a few years back but it gradually sneaked back on
Well weight from last week was 14st 11lb and weight from yesterday was 14st 10lb so I'm going in the right direction. Still managing to stay under 15st :j
Will do a tot up of the debts in a couple of days. Will see how much we have debts vs savings, might make me feel a bit better :D

    Hi diary :)
Just been on the wii fat and I now weigh 14st 8lb so I'm still going down (all be it slowly!)
    Done some number crunching....

    CC1 £3,500
    CC2 £8,300
    Car £4,950

    Total debt £16,750

    Cash ISA £10,950
    Shares ISA £2,294
    Savings jar £592

    Total savings £13,836

I've come to the conclusion that our debt isn't going to clear any time soon (it's all on 0% so there's no rush) so figured I'd work out how much is in savings vs debts instead.
Need to get the savings up above the debt figure. Before the end of the year would be nice :)
