I know, it's shocking!
It's a high street name too. I thought I'd read it wrong.
Ive just seen an advert on telly for people who can get a card with poor credit rating and that was offering 39% ish so it's even higher than that.
I'm gonna look into transfering our current account over to a different bank (I think Halifax or tsb have the best offer at the moment).
Might as well take some free money if they're offeringHistoric Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!

Week 1 - Day 4
Morning diary
One of the cars needs taxing and servicingHave managed to make sure there's enough cash for it.
Need to work out what to do with the kids today, they're starting to get bored. Would be good if the weather was nicer, then we could go to the park (have a feeling it's going to stay miserable).
Trying my hardest to keep a £1,000 buffer in the bank account for emergencies (and forgotten things like car service!) currently sitting around £800 but that's sure to go down

Week 1 - Day 5
Evening diary.
Almost forgot to check in for the day!
Having a bit of a downer of a day today.
Feeling old and that I've not really done much with my life workwise (still stuck in the same old minimum wage job industry I've been in for the last 15 years  )
I need a new challenge, works just not doing it for me at the moment.
I'm not the kind of person to suck up so I don't have much hope of getting onwards and upwards anytime in the near future.
Highlight of my day today.
Played the kids at monopoly this evening (they have some weird rules!) and I won
Better get to sleep, night diary!Historic Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!

Week 1 - Day 6
Evening diary.
Well the week's nearly over, kids are back to school Monday
Weighed myself on the wii fat, lost another 2lb, that's 5lb lost nowyay me!
Been a busy bunny the last week keeping the kids entertained.
Really proud of myself as the only thing we've shelled out in was a McDs for dinner last night (and even then we used voucher codes).
I've been good and not taken the kids out anywhere. Instead I'd bought them some new cheap toys in the Christmas sales a few weeks back, so they've had a box of 'kinetic sand' each, which they've now all mushed into one colour (why is it that and play doh always ends up a sort of purpley, browny, grey colour!). That's kept them happy for a good 2-3 days and was only £2 a set (bargain!).
Couple of Lego sets still unopened from Christmas have been built.
Also got some play money from Poundland and we've had them playing shops (strange how entertained they were buying their own toys off each other) and banks too.
Much cheaper than going out to soft play

Week 1 - Day 7
Evening diary.
Well the week is finally over
The next few weeks will start to become tougher as everyone wants a chunk of our cash.
OH has a rough idea of how his bonus will go next month and it's not looking very good compared to how it has been in the past.
Think we can expect about £400 after tax. Still, better than nothing I suppose
Kids back to school tomorrow, means I can start getting some overtime in again

Week 2 - Day 2
Evening diary
Didn't get a chance to check in yesterday, was flat out at work and completely forgot to pop on here.
Just trying to wind down for bed (which is easier said than done with hiccups!)
Not long now till pay day
Very proud of myself today, did stir fry for dinner with whoopsied veg. 2 of the kids turned their noses up at it and ate as little as they could possibly get away with. They'll be hungry in the morning!
Better try and get some sleep, only had about 3 hours last night so could do with a good night tonightHistoric Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!

Week 2 - Day 3
Good evening diary
Had a nice peaceful day off work today, fell asleep on the sofa this afternoon as didn't get a great nights sleep again.
Got some long shifts a tad work coming up, trying to rattle through the overtime in order to get some extra money in on pay day.
So glad pay day is a week today, it can't come around quick enough!
I had a dream last night that I won the lottery, chance would be a fine thing :rotfl:
Night diary, hopefully I can dream spend my imaginary millions tonightHistoric Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!

Hello diary.
Not been on for a couple of days (been working overtime), I did a 12 hour shift yesterday
Trying to get the extra hours in before the end of the month.
I dont want to look at the current credit card balance as I know it's gone up quite a way  car is in for service on Wednesday which will cause it to go up even more.
Need to get the cards stabilised, we were doing so well!
Can't wait for Easter to come around as we're going away for a couple of dayscounting down now, 5 weeks to go
