last in for this month collected my L'Octainne gift box today, very nice SA also gave my BF one too :D so that's 2 sets.
    See you next month ;)
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time
  • Evening ladies, a quick stop drop and roll from me.

I have several UUs to report

    Sanctuary body wash 75ml
Elle MacPherson nourishing foot butter 50ml
Champneys spa treatments energising lime body scrub 50ml
    No7 instant radiance concealer
    Bobbi Brown natural brow shaper
Champneys spa indulgence oriental opulence bubble heaven 300ml

The sanctuary wash was fine, but I'm rather over the original sanctuary scent now. I haven't bought much soap and glory but I can imagine it's much the same thing. I'm just over it. WNBA.
Elle MacPherson foot butter was a relic, the last of a christmas gift from about four years ago. I wasn't hugely enamoured of the smell of any of these products but they did their jobs well. Either way, they're discontinued now so WNBA.
Lime scrub, lovely smell and I used it with a mint shower gel so it made me giggle to go to work smelling like a mojito, but as a scrub it was just useless. WNBA.
    Concealer - HG WDBA
Brow Shaper - not hugely thrilled, my brows are too fair to use alone and I use pencil again at the moment but WMBA if using powder.
Champneys bubble heaven - I have another full size and one travel size still in the stash, got this v cheap in the sale, WMBA at that price.

That brings me to 13 UU and - a first for me - no INs for the month! Check me out! :A

alja - make sure you exfoliate and moisturise frequently - this prepares the skin well for any type of hair removal and prevents "chicken-flesh" / ingrown hairs. I used to use Ingrow-Go (same concept as TendSkin by the sounds of it) but realised that it actually wasn't needed if I prepped well - this is what the beauticians recommend too. I now tend just to shave rather than wax, as I got sick of the very regular appointments and the regrowth inbetween (and the cost - ~£50 for a Hollywood ) and I don't suffer with any of these problems so long as I keep up this rotuine. I do think your skins gets used to it over time, too, and stops reacting so much.

Thank you, I'll have to get a little routine going :)

Get yourself a Dermalogica buffing cloth and have a good go at the skin every time you're in the shower, my local TKMaxx have some non-Dermalogica buffing cloths so might be worth a go, they're excellent for preventing ingrown hairs but make sure you moisturise afterwards as well.

Thank you! I will look out for those :)

To finish off October, I had an IN yesterday of an E45 overnight hand cream, but two outs on Friday as I managed to sell two Frizz Ease products that I no longer wanted, so that was a bonus :) now let's see how November goes...

I will have some serious INs when I'm back from Blackpool, well they're 'IN' now but I don't have time to declare them, too much to do! Needless to say I went a bit mad at the Boots shopping evening :o

£50 for a Hollywood? That's double what my place charges!
    Thanks Kadison
Would you remember the price of the Dermalogica and non Dermalogica cloths and are they disposable or reuseable?
I would like to try one.
    cheers

Lyndsydee - I only ever had a wax done once, it was painful but worse than that I had skin that looked like plucked chicken and was actually bleeding, I never had it done again. The results don't last long enough and you have to wait for a certain length of hair to get it done again. I never, ever use a razor as you can get ingrown hairs (this will be what your rash is) I use a cream hair remover specially for that area, it takes 5 minutes and the results are good and you can do it easily and cheaply at home.

Dolly, would you mind telling me which cream you used. Have had a look to see what is on the market and it seems to be a mine field of various creams for various parts of the body
