Hyaluronic gel
Just thought I would mention that Aldi special buy tomorrow 30th October has hyaluronic gel 30ml for £6.99. I know there are a few fans of lacura products here and a few fans of the indeed labs hyaluronic that is sold at boots for £25 when not on offer.
Sorry I didn't notice that this had already been mentioned. Instead of deleting my post I will just leave it as a reminder.0 -
I'm off for a blood test for hypothyroidism in the morning and am absolutely terrified. I've been putting it off for ages because I hate needles and I can't stand the sight of blood! _pale_ :embarasse
Best of luck tomorrow. *Hugs* I know that it doesn't help much but I always look away when I'm having blood drawn and find that talking whilst it's being drawn helps (goodness knows what I say! It helps distract me though). I hate needles/the sight of blood as well but hopefully you'll get someone really gentle and it will be over in a flash.0 -
Hopefully the Aldi hyaluronic gel won't sell too well tomorrow, as I am still without transport to go and get it. I had to take advantage of DS's availability this evening to go and get some shopping as DD and DGC are visiting tomorrow and usually bring healthy appetites.
A tiny NBI. Usually my subscription magazines don't have samples in, but this month's (December's) Good Housekeeping did. Dove leave in BB hair cream 'for ageing hair'. That would be me, then.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -

Another use up to report from my Project Pan list after my shower this evening, the Salon Selectives Enhancing Conditioner sachet 12ml is gone. This was another ancient stash relic and I don't even think this brand is available in the UK any more. It smelt nice and left my hair soft but I have many other conditioners in the stash.
I also have three ins to declare from my Molton Brown order. Re-charge Black Pepper Bodyscrub Bar 250g, Gingerlily Hand Cream 40ml and a 30ml complimentary sample of Frankincense & Allspice Hand Wash. None of these were needed so I have no excuse I'm afraid. I think I'm beyond help.Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician....0 -
I have a couple of uu
Avon White Lilly Bubble Bath 500ml, these are great, very scented and loads of bubbles, I have loads more bubble baths in the stash for now but WBA later.
Avon Nail & Cuticle Conditioning Pen - This was surprisingly good, it was an oil in a clicky pen, it lasted ages and did a good job.
I have also chucked out an Elemis Facial Cleansing Cloth, this had been in use for a long while but was stained with makeup and wouldn't come clean, I have another couple in the stash but WNBA as they are ludicrously expensive and are just thin flannels.
Also an Emma Hardie Facial Cleansing Cloth has gone into the bin, these are very good cloths due to the microfibre side gripping your face and just grabbing all the make up, this one ended up in the wash with a pen and got ink all over it, it had been on the go for a long while though. I have 2 more in the stash.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

VALM - the Pumpkin Icing Shower gel is lovely, different to pumpkin pie, sweeter rather than spicy. The cranberry one they are doing at the moment smelt really good .
Thanks dolly. Will have to look out for it. Did you buy yours from Boots.
I remember you asking recently about the Smashbox pallette. I've had real problems with posting to this thread lately as I kept getting timed out and just gave up on posting. Let's hope this works today.
I love the Smashbox palette. The shimmery colours are very sheer and I use the mattes as eyeliner. The other morning Emma had left her Urban Decay Nudes palettes in the bathroom so I thought I'd use one. Those colours are far more pigmented and on first application of a colour similar to Bobbi Brown's bone I looked like I was going to a 70's disco. Had to hastily add a lot of brown which didn't seem to apply on top!! During the day though the UD one made my eyelids look crepey. Something that the Smashbox one never does.
On the subject of waxing I have recently started having a brazillian. Had it done before my hols in August and last weekend. I had been shaving in between!! I'm keen to try the hair removal cream instead though simply because of the cost. In the summer I got a package of bikini line, half leg wax and Shellac toes for £40.00. Last weekend the bikini line wax alone cost £25.00 and I'm already feeling some regrowth. Asked them if they did a loyalty package ie book so many and get a discount but they said they only have a loyalty card whereby after 10 treatments you get £10.00. Not very :money:!
Repainted my nails last night and am wearing OPI Did You Ear About Van Gogh? Another colour that I never particularly liked but am liking now.
Still now UUs although our bottle of L'Occitane Verbena hand wash in the bathroom is practically on its last squirt.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

this weekend im going to ikea to get a bookcase so can really start sorting out the stash and get it in a better order rather than if it fits into a drawer it lives there
also going to make plans on what to use up over november as i have that many half used things that if a bit of focus goes onto using them up i'll get thru the stash a bit quicker0 -
hello *Waves* I'm kinda stuck with saving money on toiletries as there are few things I can use on my sensitive skin...I have found a particular brand of shampoo from a well known health food shop works and that it will water down as it is too rich, partly as it's a soft water area and my shower is pants, but occasionally it does go like cottage cheese if I get the amount watered down too much! but am working my way through free samples to see if I can get something else cheaper as it is almost 10 quid a bottle!Prizes

Hi everyone!
2 last UU's for October.
• Soap & Glory The Fab Pore Facial Peel face mask – WMBA. Was nice, but I do like to try new things.
• OST C20 serum – WDBA and already have ordered! Probably HG. It's coming for Japan I think, so I have made up some of my homemade Vit C serum to tide me over until it arrives. No more goo hoarding!
