Thank you kadison and nilequeen for your replies. I will give hair removal cream a go on my arms. I usually use those sandpaper type things, but the ones I bought recently were rubbish.

I might give an epilator a go too, I remember trying my mum's one out a few years ago on my legs and wasn't sure about it, but I was quite young, so I'll give it another shot :)

3 INs - 2 hand cream samples and the derma V10 anti-ageing serum from p0undland to try out. Not sure if it's any good, but thought I'd give it a go :)

For those of you thinking of getting bikini waxes, I would recommend showering not to long beforehand, I just had mine done after showering half an hour before an it hurt a LOT less, in fact I could hardly feel it! :D

It may be in part due to your nerve endings simply getting used to it, too - it always hurts at first, but after going at least monthly over a long period even a Hollywood stopped hurting me!

alja - make sure you exfoliate and moisturise frequently - this prepares the skin well for any type of hair removal and prevents "chicken-flesh" / ingrown hairs. I used to use Ingrow-Go (same concept as TendSkin by the sounds of it) but realised that it actually wasn't needed if I prepped well - this is what the beauticians recommend too. I now tend just to shave rather than wax, as I got sick of the very regular appointments and the regrowth inbetween (and the cost - ~£50 for a Hollywood ) and I don't suffer with any of these problems so long as I keep up this rotuine. I do think your skins gets used to it over time, too, and stops reacting so much.

    A UU:

Ruth Crilly Colab dry shampoo - WMBA, it didn't leave the white cast that most dry shampoos do and it smelled lovely, but it didn't really do much else. Still to find that HG dry shampoo!

I bought l'oreal true match and I'm so disappointed. It's so greasy, it is vile.

I thought the colour would be ok but it's much too dark anyway. The right shade for me is illamasqua skin base number 2 but at £32 it's too expensive for every day

I have used up an orange shower gel from superdrug and a raspberry one. They are amazing. Highly recommend.

I used up my superdrug B night serum, it's not bad at all, I would buy again if it's around the £5 mark but wouldn't pay more than that.

Bargain of the week they are selling sanctuary in savers. I got the firming youth serum for £3. It is usually £15 in boots. I really like this serum, well worth a buy if you see it and need a serum. Sanctuary is so underrated. I am addicted to their mud mask however haven't seen that in savers sadly.

I have just about used up my Nivea primer - again highly rate but I would go for the dry skin one again next time not the normal. Again well worth the money.

I have run out of and bought another Maybelline age rewind - again highly recommend.

I am waiting for a lily lolo foundation to come. I have just about finished mine. This is great if you want a light makeup, it doesn't control oil well enough for me to wear it over sunscreen in summer but it's great for winter. About 1/2 the price of bare minerals. Their products last for ages I have been using up a sample of their finishing powder as a travel product for about 6 months.

I got 2 mua lipsticks as I needed something 80s. They are really good quality for £1 each. I would wear Tulip in real life. Juicy is way too orangey though but can't go wrong for a quid. Also got a Hawaiian tropic lipgloss for a pound which is fab as has factor 25 sun factor in it.

I also bought some fake nails as mine are so bitten. Boots do 200 for £8. I wouldn't wear them every day as they fall off too easily but they are great for a nice night out.

I also bought 2 x tre semme heat defence. Big ones £1.20 each bargain. Won't need to stock up on that for about a year.

I have made great inroads into a couple of blushers I have had round for ages. Am half way through my elf stick and my benefit dandelion. Am loving the dandelion.

Used up my collection brow pencil - would not buy again lasted me two seconds. Have gone back to Maybelline even though the pencils break easily.
Have you seen the benefit mini eyeliner in Elle magazine. Not my kind of thing but a good buy if you want to tey it.

I will have some serious INs when I'm back from Blackpool, well they're 'IN' now but I don't have time to declare them, too much to do! Needless to say I went a bit mad at the Boots shopping evening :o

Get yourself a Dermalogica buffing cloth and have a good go at the skin every time you're in the shower, my local TKMaxx have some non-Dermalogica buffing cloths so might be worth a go, they're excellent for preventing ingrown hairs but make sure you moisturise afterwards as well.

£50 for a Hollywood? That's double what my place charges!

Have you tried the Dove one in their pink range? Love it as it doesn't leave any powder in your hair and gives it a bit of texture too. I do go through it rather quickly though but I always just stock up when it's on offer.

Have one final UU to report for the month:

TBS Cleansing Oil - WBA (and already have). It's very simlar to the MAC one that is my HG but this is cheaper and you get a bit more as well. Plus TBS always have an offer (although I seem to be missing them recently!).

Recently I've fallen out of love with powder eyeshadows and just seem to be wearing the maybelline colour tattoo in on and on bronze all the time. It lasts all day and looks enough for every day but can be amped up for the evening too. Plus it saves me time in the morning when I'm getting ready for work! Need to pop to Boots at the weekend for a moisturising mask, so might pick a couple more up so I can alternate colours (plus I've almost hit the bottom of the pot on my current one!)
