May seem a bit radical if you've not considered it before but I'm having laser hair removal on that area at the moment (I'm on my 6th treatment of 8) and it's the best thing I've ever done. I used to wax but was painful and results didn't last. I haven't had unwanted hair down there since about the 3rd treatment so I've been more than happy. It's pricey but if you tot up a lifetime of waxing its more than worth the results. I've been going to Sk:n clinics who use a more powerful laser than IPL and they've got 30% off treatments fairly regularly.

my experience of this is that as soon as you stop laser treatment those pesky hairs sneak back
I have never braved a wax and having heard horror stories don't think I'll be rushing for one.

Apologies :o I can't remember who suggested the hair removal cream, I've always found it leaves a distinctive small, have you found a smell-free version? :)

No INs, OUTs or UUs, I do have the l'Occtaine freebie to collect but not near a store. What's the Marie Claire offer? :p
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

  • Kadison, you are in luck! There's an L'Occitane in the Oracle in Reading, near Lush, boots and Hotel Chocolat if I remember rightly:T

:A:Ahere has just this minute turned down 6 Bath and Body Works (its buy 3 get 3 free apparently) so want it but it still costs like £4 a product and I really don't need it:A:A Still BF is there another 2days if I chnage my mind:D
Debt free and busy treating myself:)

No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales

I remove my upper arm hair every few months if I think it's become too noticeable (I'm dark haired and fair skinned), I use hair removal cream.

Philosophy Cranberry Medley Body Lotion 50ml - I am so sad to finish this gorgeous body lotion, it is from the Fruitcake Set from Christmas so I have another tube.

    Good afternoon, everyone :)

Despite having a slow October I have reached a milestone: 250 items UU since I re-joined the challenge :D

    A couple of sad UUs

ESPA Pink Hair and Scalp Mud (100ml) - this was a freebie in a Liberty gift ages ago. I used it as slowly as possible as it's expensive but magical! I will buy this sometime as I think it's my HG scalp soothing product. I have a Wella Lotion and a PK Lotion to work through first, neither of which seem as effective which's a shame as they are cheaper and easier to use.

    Origins Youthtopia Lift (15ml sample)
    - I loved this as a night cream but it has been discontinued :(

Laura Mercier Creme Brulee candle - I bought this in a set during the summer sales. I really enjoyed using it but WNBA. I would like to try another LM candle in a different scent.

Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate (4ml sample) - I really don't understand the hype about this. WNBA but I have a 30ml bottle to UU which I bought in the Christmas sales!

maddiemay - I was tempted by the Regis sale as well but I still have lots of things from my last order so am ignoring it. (Glad the sale is only for a few days! :rotfl:)

Dolly - I broke my No Buy to buy the Booker Prize shortlist as it was on my wishlist and a great deal came along. The odd thing was that I really struggled for around a week afterwards with the urge to buy more things (toiletries rather than more books). I think I'm better once I settle into a general No Buy.

I tried the A!di Carino coconut shampoo and conditioner this morning. Shampoo had a nicely coconutty scent and lathered well, the conditioner was much better than I expected. I had to squeeze the bottle hard to get it to come out and it emerged almost paste like.
After leaving it on for three minutes whilst I did the shower gel and body puff scrubdown my hair is wonderfully soft and silky. Very impressed, I would be regardless of what I paid for it but the fact that it was 65p for 400ml is unbelievable.

For those of you thinking of getting bikini waxes, I would recommend showering not to long beforehand, I just had mine done after showering half an hour before an it hurt a LOT less, in fact I could hardly feel it! :D

I must say I need to figure out something new to use on my bikini line too. Everything I do seems to leave me with bumps and ingrown hairs :( I have recently bought some wax strips to try at home, but I am intrigued by those light pulse machines you can use at home too.

I have UU the perfume sample (wipe type ones) that came IN the other day. Hugo Boss MaVie, didn't actually smell that strong and can't say the scent wowed me personally, so I wouldn't buy it, but at least it was free perfume and two more UUs :) will see if I have any UUs today.

Always use Emjoi epilator it has gold tweezer system which is kinder to skin. Saves a fortune in waxing and time on using messy smelly creams. I don`t know if they still do that particular model, I bought one it lasted 10 years or so before it went kaput as rechargeables usually tend to. You get a finer weaker regrowth and can use once a fortnight to start with and go to monthly.
Liked it so much I bought 2, use the second one now. Boots witch hazel gel after using.
    Hope this helps

Evening ladies, I hope everyone is well.

I have a couple more use ups to declare from my Project Pan list. Firstly the Timotei Pure Shampoo 250ml - it did the job but was nothing special and I wouldn't bother buying it again. The second ancient Oil of Ulay Moisturising Body Wash sachet 10ml is also gone - again, this was nothing special but did what it was supposed to do. I can't buy it as it has long since been discontinued.

I also had an unexpected use up when my 200ml Batiste Coconut Dry Shampoo ran out. I will buy this again, but there is no need at present as I have more of these in a different scent in the stash.

I'm off for a blood test for hypothyroidism in the morning and am absolutely terrified. I've been putting it off for ages because I hate needles and I can't stand the sight of blood! _pale_ :embarasse
