Have a look at SLG Lighting Ltd, they have a clearance sale on at the moment. UK made bulbs.

It took me a long long time before finally replacing some GU10s with LEDs.

After tons of hesitation and research I plumped for
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Megaman-GU10-Watt-PAR16-Light/dp/B00CQYP06M/ref=sr_1_2?s=lighting&ie=UTF8&qid=1412408652&sr=1-2
The first set were so good I got a second set, replacing 3-gang GU10s groups.
These are sold direct by Amazon so warranty will be honoured.
The 2800k replicate tungsten light exactly. In my opinion they push out 30w equivalent.

Before anyone buys cheapies, search 'dangerous GU10s' on youtube.

They appear to be low voltage kit only, no GU10s. Are any LEDs actually manufactured in the UK? A link to prove it please!

I have purchased these GU10s from them only last week, 240v 4w bulbs, each cost £4.75 but delivery is extra.

Supplied... not made. There's the rub.

Read it as you wish but I read it supplied to them by a leading UK manufacturer as most would.

Have a look in asda .
The new stock LED bulbs are cheap they have a box of 10 for £25 and they output 40w equivalent.

The other place is home bargains

    http://www.homebargains.co.uk/products/7750-ecolight-led-bulb-gu10-warm-white-case-of-24.aspx

This is a box of 24 ..individual ones are £2.99

I use them in the bathroom and it is about 40 w equivalent but a better spread ,less focused. so can be better for some uses.just pick warm or cool white depending on the feel you want..warm is more like traditional lighting

    'Show me the lumens'

The HomeBargains one doesn't list lumens either. Does it say on the packaging anywhere? What bulbs did you replace? 35W? 50W?

Please be very clear what you are buying when it comes to LED Spotlights. Nearly all LED Spotlights that are sold or are for sale in the UK claim to be a perfect or like for like replacement for a halogen spotlight and almost without exception they are not. It's pretty poor practise and it's down to two things 1) LED company don't know what they are talking about or b) They are knowingly misleading customers.

A Halogen spotlight will have a Colour Rendering Index rating of 100 out 100. This means it's perfect at highlight the true colour of objects in your home. Nearly all LED Spots on sale in the UK only have CRI of 70 - 80, which means they are not like for like or perfect replacements for halogens. If you buy an LED Spotlight with CRI less than 95 then you will suffer a reduction in quality of light. This is something that LED companies don't want you to know as CRI is a very expensive and difficult thing to develop - which is why there is only 1 LED Spot and 1 LED Bulb on sale in the UK with CRI levels that can match the light quality of halogens and incandescents.

Now don't get me wrong, there is a place for an LED Spot with 80 CRI - they can be as bright as a 50w halogen, have a nice warm colour temperature and a good spread of light, which is perfect for some people - but its really important to get the right information to consumers so they know what they are buying and what to expect from a product they have spent good money on.

Oh and you guys might find this helpful - http://jontank.wordpress.com/2014/09/13/dirty-sales-tricks-used-by-uk-led-retailers/
