Mind you, a shonky old 200K A3 sounds much more believable as a runabout than a 15 grand Lexus.
But the big question - is it allowed to overtake?
Cubic capacity is 1986 so unfortunately not0 -
Small car does not = small mileage. I bought a corsa because despite doing 600+ miles a week I do them on my owns with minimal luggage, so why buy a bigger car?! It doesn't make sense. I was toying with getting a Citroen DS3, but the Corsa was a better deal and an all over nicer driving feel. No way was I buying a petrol with the motorway miles I do (20,000 a year) - petrol costs would have bankrupted me. Still... Folks will have their preconceptions won't they?!
So... Bringing things back to my original post
Picked the car up... Was a sensor fault. Vauxhall covered the cost of sorting it out and it's fine. Took it on a long journey today and no problems. Excellent :-)0 -
Glad you got it sorted. If someone is nice to you but rude to the waiter, they are not a nice person.0

You suspect wrong. A small car with a small petrol engine is going to economical by its nature. There is very little justification for paying an inflated price for a diesel (which is a dearer fuel than petrol) when the amount of miles required to recoup any spending is inter-galaxitcal.
I have a citroen c1 to do 350 miles a week and I only pay £30 a week for fuel, and that covers me half way into the following week! Our Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016

£20 for 350 miles, at £1.30/litre, would be 102mpg. Even if you used the full £30, that'd be 70mpg. The official combined economy figure is 65mpg for a 2012-2014 C1.
It's possible to achieve 70mpg on the C1/Aygo/107 if you do 90% motorway driving at 55mph.
Even my brothers A3 2.0 tdi can do 65mpg at 55mph.0 -

In your opinion. Good job we're not all the same, or we'd all be driving M3s and bullying our way around.0 -

I hope you didn't overtake anything.0 -
motorway driving at 55mph.
And a menace to lorry drivers. There is no excuse for cars to go this slowly on a clear motorway.I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0
