    Evenin' all :)

I have wondered if I am suited to keeping diaries. I have left it a while and I shouldn't have done that really. I am always waiting for something really 'big' to happen and saying nothing if it doesn't :(.....maybe that should be a ':)'.....I don't want anything reportedly huge and bad do I?

The envelope budgeting has been great. I may have cheated a little here and there BUT I know what I have got and how I am going to apportion it. I also know my diesel /parking costs are going to be back in the account in the next few days and I have taken account of that. I would like to say they are going to be paid to 'predator x' but I am not there yet or at least not completely..... a day at a time :)

I mentioned before my 'Ayers Rock' and in addition my little irritating debts. Well.......I am taking on 'Ayers Rock' next year as I will have a modest sum available but in the meantime I am 'swotting some flies.' Watch out Opos Limited and Motormile Finance (stupid name!) I am hopefully having rid of you both in this good month of November 2014......as the evenings drawn in and the temperatures drop......haha!! :)!! I'll put up the 'clappy' emoticon when I have finally swotted the irritating little beggars!!!!

When there is a 'whiff' of spring in the air I might be tackling the Gnat's Vest and a couple of other monoliths. Next year has to see a change in everything.

    Lots of luv & peace!

    Brogden.

    Thanks Nanny :)

I am not sure Mrs. Brogden thinks I am fun. Since the debt was declared she regularly moves the artillery in. :( Its the letters and phone calls and M&S in particular really cause the restarting of the cold war. I just have to pull my Iron Curtain and carry on regardless with everything on my 'to do' list. Arrogant? Nonchalant? Oh yeah......I'm all of that :) !!

The alternative is no action / no targets / no goals and ultimately no results. Mrs Brogden certainly wouldn't like that so with a few obstacles thrown in my way on I will go :)

I have subscribed to your diary Nanny. You should update it......you're worse than me :rotfl: !!!

    Have a lovely day.

  • Hey Brogden, long time lurker here coming out of the shadows to say hi (though admittedly shorter term account holder).
I've been following you since the beginning, I'm loving your chipping away, and general battle and think you're doing fab.

You've spurred me on to have a lot better awareness of it all, and although I don't have any envelopes, I'm checking my balances a lot more regularly, and really trying to lift as little cash as possible!

I look forward to hearing your next achievement, you always make me laugh even if there's no "news" so please do keep writing!

Thanks INOD.......I hope the outcome of today is good......I feel sure it will be :)

To be honest its not really my first thousand that I am going for :( !!

I have been liability up and then down and then up.........etc. Trying to keep all happy here but usually failing so the figures on my signature, whilst extremely accurate (!) are a moving thing although recently much less so as 'priority predators' find that I am up to date and do not need to upset me. I am sure they would like to given the chance!

Basically priority bills almost OK (ish) hence less emergency calls on the funds hence the ......'envelopes.' I could not have considered envelopes a short while ago :rotfl:

    Thanks Purple Penguin......fantastic name :) !!

I always liked penguins and purple. I guess you are a purple and white penguin? Not purple all over are you? You would certainly stand out on the ice even more if you were!!

Thanks x 1000 for your comments - I really appreciate it and like anybody on here with a diary......we would all give it up if nobody was reading it and it is great that you have come and told me and encourage me to keep rambling on :) !!

Take care and please come back again.

    Seconded or thirded :D

Do keep adding to your diary - I'm reading it too :D and no matter which way the financial rollecoaster is going at a given moment in time, the excitement of a few pence saved or made here and there is to be shared. Or is that just me? :o :rotfl:

I agree. Have subscribed. Keep telling us what you're doing with the envelopes. Is each envelope for one day to pay for everthing, not just personal spends?
