Good idea. I put in my email to Jemma that I realised they had done thier best, but they really should mark the box 'Fragile'.

Royal mail don't pay out on glass objects sent standard parcels, especially since they were'nt even marked fragile.

The daft thing is RPM could of avoided all of this by just sending out coupons for you to pick one up from a supermarket or something.
Did you know you can get Viagra software now??? Yeah, it turns your floppy drive into a hard drive :D
  • With reference to the recent posts by masterbrown and queensway boy, I refer back to my previous post in the thread.
To TGM, tricia, and others with the smashed ones. If these were sent "Special Delivery" as others have reported, you can claim the value back from the Post Office (they don't cough up on glass or china on Standard parcel rate)

    The form is here:

You might as well go for your £9.99 after all this effort!!

Meanwhile no news here and the GM people will soon get tired enough of me copying them in on every angry email to do something, one hopes...

As stated there, my understanding from what people have posted is that they were sent Special Delivery, and therefore are covered.

Mine arrived standard, so I'm guessing they only sent a handful special delivery.
