But we still might get something.....Taken from email:
We understand that this may come as a disappointment to you, and are therefore developing a separate offer purely and exclusively for those of you who applied for pitchers yet were unsuccessful. We will mail details of this offer to you by 30th September.0 -
Ok, just spoke with the guy from GM, he confirmed that the pitchers were not sent out first come first served and that most of them went to the people who complained first and the rest were picked at random. He said that he had been informed that RPM were so desperate to appease GM after complaints from customers that they may even have sent smashed pitchers out to some people and blamed the post just to delay a bit.
He knew nothing about the new offer and said he suspects this is something RPM are doing off there own backs.
He advised me to complain to grandmarnier@rpmltd.com he said to wait for Nick to return as Jemma does'nt have much authority.
He apologised a lot and assured me they won't be using RPM again and have asked for their details to be removed from the RPM website.
I know its only a freebie but its the principle that they said it was being sent, and from a reputible company you expect that it will. Plus now the fact that they were'nt even sent out to the first in line, seems very unfair
By the way if anybody wants his telephone number pm me as I'm sure I can't post it here. Don't mention you got it from me thoughDid you know you can get Viagra software now??? Yeah, it turns your floppy drive into a hard drive0 -
any idea when this nick person is back

I quite agree with you. This makes it rather different from other freebies where you take a "it may turn up, it may not" approach.
The fact that you actually had to DO something for them to get makes it also vastly different from just filling in a form too - we supplied them with 5 friend's emails to get the pitcher - therefore there is a strong argument that WE ENTERED INTO A CONTRACT WITH THEM.
I would advise anyone complaining to use that line - that'll be the legal implication that might scare them into delivering.0 -
I got the same email too - !!!!!!!!!0

Got this email today.
Congratulations
Thank you for your interest in the Grand Marnier free pitcher offer and your patience in awaiting confirmation of your delivery. The interest in this promotion was overwhelming and we have been inundated with requests for free pitchers. We have now completed our sorting of entries and are happy to say that your application has been successful and you will receive your exclusive Grand Marnier Grand Esprit Pitcher by post within the next 14 days.
Anyone else got one?

I just sent an arsey e-mail to them. I'll let you know how I get on!0

I've just received the same e-mail as everyone else, & I'll be sending a complaint to RPM & Grand Marnier asap. I applied for the pitcher, supplying the required e-mail addresses, and got the screen response that my pitcher was on its way. It's totally unacceptable to now say, having had that referral info for weeks, that my "application was unsuccessful". It wasn't - I fulfilled the terms of the offer, & their website confirmed I had done so. :mad:BSC #53 - "Never mistake activity for achievement."
