porting from orange/we to t-mobile via third party

My ee contract expires in a couple of weeks, I seen an excellent deal on a third party site with T-Mobile (z2 with unlimited internet for 30pm with free(ish) kindle fire hd) are there any complications when porting from. Orange\ee to t-mobile.

Also, anyone in northern Ireland let me know about signal / reception / internet here with T-Mobile

T-Mobile is a part of EE as well so you won't notice any difference in coverage. Not sure about the number migrating issue, in theory it shouldn't be a problem, but I've heard that EE can sometimes create unnecessary problems when being asked to transfer a number within its own network when someone's bought a new contract from a third party. Maybe those are just exceptional cases, though, call and double check with EE, perhaps?
