Anyone know of any offers Boots has planned this weekend?
Looking to spend my £103 points on some new make up0 -
Does anyone know if I can combine two vouchers? I have these
£5 off £40 spend
£5 off £30 on fragrance
If I spend £40 in total would it work? Or do I have to spend £45?
Read the T&C - likely to say you can't use more than one voucher in any transaction - but try it anyway on a £40 spend!0 -
My mum went to Leeds city centre store for the Jack Wills refund.
We bought it in October at full price, so she was miffed that they'd reduced it now.
She had "polite words" with the manager for 20 mins.
He then refunded her the £33 difference.
So annoyed by it all. Boots definitely have the worst customer service I've seen this Christmas, I have had to complain a lot.
Anyhow, they did the refund. So anyone thinking of going, be ready for polite words
Can't understand why you or your mum is annoyed by it all or with Boots. She bought it in October, outside of the 28 day refund, so they didn't have to refund her the full amount or the difference. So you should be grateful you got any sort of refund.
When I go to a shop and purchase an item I am agreeing to pay that amount of money. If it goes down in price 2 months later then tough luck and silly me for paying that in the 1st place.
It's the same as me paying full price for my children's christmas gifts, when I know full well the prices will fall come Boxing Day.Pay all debt off by Christmas 2025 £815.45/£3,000£1 a day challenge 2025 - £180/£730 Declutter a bag a week in 2025 11/52Lose 25lb - 10/25lbs Read 1 book per week - 5/52Pay off credit card debt 18%/100%0 -
Oh i meant by "so annoyed by it all" that i am annoyed at how Boots handle the Christmas customer service, not just this particular incident. Unforunately this is just one of many inccidents since i've been shopping this festive season.
Do you not get annoyed paying full price then for it to be reduced before Christmas?
I understand Boxing day of course, but before Christmas, it did annoy me that they did this. But i guess it is a good way to get rid of stock for them. It's the risk you take eh?0 -
Instead of going in asking for a refund of the difference on the Jack Wills bag I'd simply buy it again at the reduced price and return the higher priced one another time or to another store saying I'd bought the wrong thing or someone else had also bought it. I've always found Boots more than reasonable & 28 days has never been mentioned to me. Particularly at this time of the year when they are used to people returning unwanted or duplicate gifts.?0

I completely agree. What if people bought something in the middle of the year then it went down in price six months later, I'm sure some people on here would still feel they're entitled to a refund ! Wouldn't surprise me if they do the same at a supermarket and try to take back a packet of toilet roll if they see it 50p cheaper a fortnight after they've bought it ! Certain things I can understand like buying it the day before or something, but as mentioned above, you buy it at a particular price and agree to that, 2 months later people shouldn't feel like they've been wronged.

No 7 set was the one I was waiting for. Picked mine up yesterday evening from Stratford Upon Avon Maybird store. I don't use all the items but of the ones I do use it's worth it, as I've said before it's worth getting just for the day/night creams.
So now Xmas is nearly upon us are we all looking forward to the Boots sale thread...? I loved reading it last year and the year before!:money::rotfl::T0 -
