  • Went in today and got the advent calendar plus one set of 342 gifts. Sadly the woman wouldn't let me use any of my extra points coupons, even though I'd just overheard a woman at one of the other tills allowing it! I guess it depends who you get serving you as to whether you get lucky!

    Christmas Shopping Evenings

Hi Boots Gurus. I live in Manchester and missed the event at the Trafford Centre yesterday. Does anyone know if they will do any more shopping evenings with £12 of points when you spend £50? Also where online can I find a list of these events.

    Many Thanks

As expected today's star gift is Sensationail starter set. Can anyone tell me if this set is any good? I am always smuging/chipping my nail polish and drive my husband insane so wondered if gel polish might be worth a go, however I have really weak nails that are badly peeling at the minute and I was wondering if gel polish is likely to make my nails worse?
There must be another 1/2 price deal ootw starting tomorrow, there hasn't been only one starting on a thursday since they started.:D

Market Street, Manchester is on today. Is that the one in the Arndale? If it's open late you could pop there this evening?

Just back from my Boots event. Got 2 lots of 3 for 2 gifts, 2 items Jack Wills set and Starbucks set) were OOS in store but they were able to order them for me online so I still got the 3 for 2 and £12 points.
My problem is I was stupid and said yes to getting it delivered to that store when afterwards I realised I could have gotten it delivered to a store closer to me:doh:
Anyway it's done now. I saved £30 and got the Jack Wills set free so that was a bonus:T

Also got an extra 250 points that were on my card for a spend over £25. Wasn't expecting that to happen due to the Points event but I'm thinking because it was already on the card and not an actual token, no-one could say no to it.

    Hi!
I got sent a couple of the Sensationail kits as I run a blog and they're good but certainly not worth over £50. I would put a worth of around £35 but that's just my opinion. It's hard to take off too x

Also how easy is it to remove?

Its not too bad. I bought some of the Sensationail remover and the scraper tool (sorry can't remember its name) when it was on offer and some cheap foils from amazon. Just wrap the foils round nails for about 10 mins then scrape it off.
