Boots Christmas weekly star gift thread

Well this is what I said to the girl on the till who told me how it was going to work. That a lot of older people don't use a smartphone, as mentioned before I've only just got a smartphone myself & I'm 39.
Maybe they think the older people don't use the Advantage Card machines either?!
My mum is 75 and uses the Advantage card machines. My 2 aunts are also pensioners and use them too.
I do think it is a disgrace that they are assuming that everyone now uses smartphones and apps. I myself only downloaded the boots app last week. And wouldn't have done so had I not read it one here.
I'll have to remember to tell my sisters and nieces to download it if this is the way it's going. My mum and aunts on the other hand, well again they are being penalised for being pensionersPay all debt off by Christmas 2025 £815.45/£3,000£1 a day challenge 2025 - £180/£730 Declutter a bag a week in 2025 11/52Lose 25lb - 10/25lbs Read 1 book per week - 5/52Pay off credit card debt 18%/100%0 -

I've not used any of the offers since I downloaded the app. I downloaded a few but never bothered to use them - far more likely to do so when you've just visited the ad card machine and then browse the shelves.
As mentioned earlier, I tended to use them to double up on the half price & extra points offers - there's been many a time when I paid £2.50 for something and got 200 extra points too & did it three or four times, not for much longer0 -

so it might be an OOTW to come?
balletshoes I was in Boots this afternoon and this bag won't be OOTW. It is on the 3 for 2 instore as there's a present on the price labelPay all debt off by Christmas 2025 £815.45/£3,000£1 a day challenge 2025 - £180/£730 Declutter a bag a week in 2025 11/52Lose 25lb - 10/25lbs Read 1 book per week - 5/52Pay off credit card debt 18%/100%0 -
I've heard from someone who works at Boots that the Jack Wills Bag at £65 will definitely be an OOTW despite people mentioning it having a present label on it? Don't know whether to get now with th 25% or wait :undecided:undecided:undecided:undecided0

Please advise what ootw stands for, thankyou0

Hmmm will this goes against every other OOTW with no present on the label. I have seen the label myself on that bag as I want one myself and it definitely has a present on it, I posted a link to a pic of it a page or 2 back.
If it is OOTW then happy days, I'll be up all night to get one, but going by other years and OOTW labels I just don't think it will be.
I would love to be proved wrong on this one thoughPay all debt off by Christmas 2025 £815.45/£3,000£1 a day challenge 2025 - £180/£730 Declutter a bag a week in 2025 11/52Lose 25lb - 10/25lbs Read 1 book per week - 5/52Pay off credit card debt 18%/100%0 -
