so it might be an OOTW to come?
Maybe. I'm not sure as all the other items that are OOTW are also 3 for 2 before and after.
The only time they are not on 3 for 2 is when they are OOTW. Maybe one of our insiders will be able to inform usPay all debt off by Christmas 2025 £815.45/£3,000£1 a day challenge 2025 - £180/£730 Declutter a bag a week in 2025 11/52Lose 25lb - 10/25lbs Read 1 book per week - 5/52Pay off credit card debt 18%/100%0 -
Well the 25% off a Christmas gift 'voucher' worked on the OOTW Joules bag for me :-)
When I first went to the till I was told that as it didn't have a green present on the tag it wouldn't work, so I left it. I later decided I did want it at the offer price, so went back and also picked up a 'gift' for £5 (which I was expecting to get 25% off). When i paid it was less than I was expecting and when I checked my recipt it clearly shows 25% off £22 and I was charged £16.50 for the Joules star gift. Very happy but slightly annoyed I paid £5 for something I didn't really want! Also used the extra 200 points wys £20!0 -
Does anyone know with the boots app if you can use more then one offer at a time? For example can I use 10% off a £20 spend and 200 points on a £20 spend. How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard - Winnie the Pooh0

Last week I spent £76 on Christmas gifts. The cashier used the 300 pts wys £30 which was on my advantage card. I then gave her the paper 1000 pts wys £60 voucher and the till wouldn't accept it as the other offer had been activated. She added the paper voucher points on manually, but I don't think more than 1 voucher works now.SPC9 #125 - £816.85

All staff should of had their training but you always get one that has no idea!
You say that but I used to work in one of the flagship stores and training was a luxury! It took a year and a half for me to get fire safety trained!Undergrad law student. Take my advice with a pinch of salt! :rotfl:0 -
I showed one of the staff at the tills the app on my phone and asked how I use a voucher. I had already loaded it to card and she said "you have t wait for the voucher to come through the post now". I was in a hurry so bought the baby food anyway but noticed the voucher had applied automatically. Looks like the staff are just as much in dark as we are...
No it's not working like that - this would defeat the object if they then have to post the vouchers out manually - would cost them more money.
The point of this will be to save them money in ink & paper, get more people using their app and stop people doubling up on offers
The girl in my store said once it's added to your card you take the item to the till and the cashier will see there's an offer on the card and ask you if you want to use it. (either that or the till would pick up on the offer automatically).0 -
So peops - anyone know what the Offer of the Week will be this Friday coming?
I'm waiting for the Sanctuary gift and will be looking to try my 25% voucher against it.0 -

See this is my gripe again What about the people who don't/can't use apps??
You know I feel that strongly about it I'm going to send a complaint off about this to let my feelings be known. I don't think it's fair on those who can't afford a mobile phone/smartphone, it's certainly discriminating against old people.
I'm going into Boots today too. Think I'll see if I can have a word with someone who is in charge tooPay all debt off by Christmas 2025 £815.45/£3,000£1 a day challenge 2025 - £180/£730 Declutter a bag a week in 2025 11/52Lose 25lb - 10/25lbs Read 1 book per week - 5/52Pay off credit card debt 18%/100%0 -

Well this is what I said to the girl on the till who told me how it was going to work. That a lot of older people don't use a smartphone, as mentioned before I've only just got a smartphone myself & I'm 39.
Maybe they think the older people don't use the Advantage Card machines either?!0
