iPhone 6 bends in your pocket

Anyway whats annoying about all this, is likely I wouldn't bend it as I would look after it, but imagine someone grabbing it off you and for fun applying some pressure to bend it just for the lols..0

Apples response:
"...the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus is too beautiful to be left in your pocket... ...so that everyone can see your beautiful iPhone. - Tim Cook, CEO Apple.

What a bunch of false, egotistic, show offs we are: as in Facebook, some of us choose to be part of the 'look at me' society. It doesn't mean diddly squat you've got the latest phone... anybody with the right amount of money can have one.0 -

You reckon you could bend a Samsung screen like that without it breaking?0 -

That's brilliant. I NEED one of those now, I've been through about four screens in the last eighteen months0

Here's someone who tried their hardest to bend a normal iPhone 6 (not the Plus) and found it was a lot tougher than they thought:

Here also pulled the 8.1 iOS upgrade because it's causing issues. And when I say issues it's basically borking the phone. No signal. Touch ID doesn't work. No wifi. So 8.1 has been withdrawn for turning phones into nice paperweights.
With that and the bending issue apple isn't doing to well in the media right now.
Hasn't stopped them shifting ten million new units this past week though.
I like iPhone and am a member of mac rumours and even as a massive apple fan the (what can only be described as) fanboys over there are cringe worthy in the extreme.
'Oh course it'll bend if you put in in your pocket'
'These people have done this on purpose to make apple look bad'
Those two seem to be the general consensus. No idea where you're supposed to keep your phone. Are you meant to buy a little bag just for it? And yes. People often waste £600+ on a phone justs to break it and post on a forum about it.
It's truly pathetic to read.Sigless0
