I am trying to only spend three times a week.

    Shopping (Mondays)
    Petrol (Wednesdays)
    Life (Saturday)

however the charity sweet box and running out of guinea pig food can put a spanner in the works!

Do you not remember last night when you promised Igor to help with the costs of his new Lederhosen?Given his peculiar shape, they have to be custom-made... ..upping the price of course!
I think we'd all had a few too many...with any luck,he'll have forgotten all about it...

He has promised us a slap-up lunch as a thank you : ferret and pilchard sausage with heaps of sauerkraut, some turnip pretzels and lashings of beer. :D
Hopefully he'll have forgotten about that too.

Well his lederhosen wouldn't be so expensive if they didn't have to sew a third leg into them....whoops...sounds a lot more rude than I meant :rotfl:
    I hope you enjoy it.
I've just remembered that my actual favourite is raspberry ripple, which seems to have gone out of fashion.Sad but true.Stracciatella comes a very close second.I have found some in Waitrosse when visiting my sister. It was ok,but not great.Does anyone know where you can get a superior version of the gorgeous RR?Icould make some of course.....As long as Igor is not giving lessons,of course...

    Today was #2.:)

    Happy Friday night!

Not a big ice cream fan (sensitive teeth) - although I do like vanilla with ice magic on (showing my age and how long its been since I had any) or the ltd edn Creme Egg one but didn't get any this year as no room in the freezer.

For RR I reckon you have to go somewhere akin to its roots, no posh stuff from Waitys, try a good old tub from somewhere like Iceland.

oh, forgot to say, NSD #1 in the bag today - I did order some trousers from AS0S, with 10% off BUT its to compare with a pair I previously ordered from there for size, obv I'm only keeping one pair so I'm only counting the original spend.

:hello: Hiya lovely NSD gang xxx

Well doing okay here as I'm declaring number 3 :j

I'm off to London tomorrow so know it will be slightly spendy (but keeping it low as only taking a fixed amount with me :) ) I have done the be in the audience thing before Marmite they are usually a lot of fun although I have preferred the ones I have been to at the RADA studios over the ones at Broadcasting House (but that might have been that they had some one who's face I knew in them ;)).

As it happened on my way into work tonight my petrol light came on (only on, not flashing) so I will get some on the way home from work before I go out so I can keep it all on the same day. I have transferred some money from my account to my basic account online as at first when it came on I was like 'damn I've got no money on me so will lose an NSD on Sunday' :rotfl:but am happier now :)

Back soon, may not make it in tomorrow but will be here on Sunday.

Keep those Narglehounds out on the NSD hunt all :D

    :hello:

DFD Need to August 2027 :(

Latecomer to the party !! .... Can I join please, with a target of 15 please?

And I'm going to be brave (possibly encouraged by the flagon of beer :D) and go for 3-in-a-row too?

Thanks for running the challenge again!!

  • Unfortunately a spend day yesterday.

Spent on some birthday cards for mother in law, one from us and separate one from little man. Bought hubby a shirt as anniversary present (and it was in the sale) but it's going back.

Went out for our wedding anniversary last night but was paid out of our joint account.

Will be a spend day today as need milk, bread and cereal. Will be desperately trying not to buy more than that. :D

  • I'm behind a day, but thank you for wishing me a good day yesterday, It was a much better day as I was in a nursery which i loved, though I was sad it was the last time i'd be there for a while as I have on going bank staff work until hopefully jauary.

Today is going to be a spend day.
I need to get skin clearing lotion from Bodyshop...
it's the ONLY thing that works so I kind of need to buy it though it is a little expensive (for me anyway at £8) :rotfl:

This is the first time I'm doing this challenge and I'm really enjoying it. It's making me think before spending any money. Yesterday wasn't an NSD but I'd planned to go to the coffee shop after work and spent far less than l normally would. I'll be spending today too, but I feel more in control. I'm also keeping a spending diary. Planning an NSD for tomorrow though.

Have a good weekend everyone 😊
