Hi everyone, I'm struggling to keep up this week, but I'm doing ok at not spending.

Tuesday was a NSD taking me to 21 NSDs for Sept.

Then yesterday gave me NSD #1 for October.
    MFW 2017 #123 2018: £1,852.64/£39,200 (4.7%)

All my friends seem to have plans this Friday night, so I'll be staying in with a bubble bath and a cocktail (I made a lapsang souchang and demerera syrup yesterday to add smokiness to an old fashioned). Wither the wildness of youth.

Edit: forgot to add that therefore today is NSD 2/10. :)

Do you not remember last night when you promised Igor to help with the costs of his new Lederhosen?Given his peculiar shape, they have to be custom-made... ..upping the price of course!
I think we'd all had a few too many...with any luck,he'll have forgotten all about it...

He has promised us a slap-up lunch as a thank you : ferret and pilchard sausage with heaps of sauerkraut, some turnip pretzels and lashings of beer. :D
Hopefully he'll have forgotten about that too.

I do hate it when I wake up the next morning and can't remember anything...!

I was not expecting a NSD today as I was intent on purchasing wedding things to make me happy but I have been so hectic I haven't got round to it and don't think I will do now so instead I shall claim my lovely lederhosen-wearing-octoberfest-best-day-yet Numero Uno NSD #1 :T

House completion expected around 22nd November :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j so I can see it being a tight month followed by a crafty Christmas. But as this house has central heating maybe not a cold draughty one! :rotfl:

Yippee!! Great news Butti! I hope we have some similar news soon though we've still quite a way to go

Not a NSD today but I hadn't expected it to be really. I have however closed 2 bank accounts that I never use (resulting in an extra £6.96 instead of it being sat in a bank account doing nothing) and been given money by my brother that he owed me, so my spends have almost been cancelled out (but not quite!)

Hmm Igor's lunch offerings make me even more glad I am vegetarian :rotfl:

    I can't agree more!

Oh stracciatella is my fave too! But tonight I'm going for some Ben&Jerry's :T :D

    I hope you enjoy it.
I've just remembered that my actual favourite is raspberry ripple, which seems to have gone out of fashion.Sad but true.Stracciatella comes a very close second.I have found some in Waitrosse when visiting my sister. It was ok,but not great.Does anyone know where you can get a superior version of the gorgeous RR?Icould make some of course.....As long as Igor is not giving lessons,of course...

    Today was #2.:)

    Happy Friday night!

Oh well,I don't know it,but I'll store that bit of info somewhere in my brain for the next time I'm in Blighty.

I forgot to say that I did actually find a super yummy Cornish ice cream, which was Raspberry and Clotted Cream -and it was really tops..so that could be my back-up RR. :)
  • Sundaysgirl you've won a second prize for September. :j
