No one has mentioned Chinese scooters apart from you and we don't know if this is Chinese junk, which seems unlikely given the price they paid for a 3 year old, second hand moped (unless they were totally ripped off).
So, where is your advice about SOGA and what rights the OP has for restitution and how to achieve this?0 -
Where is your advice? seriously - the last few posts trolling me so what do YOU advise him to do?
It is now out of warranty, he accepted it and it wasn't returned: no SOGA here I doubt. Then he has taken it elsewhere for diagnostics, at a whacking £150.
I suspect a 2 stroke maybe needing top end and/or crank rebuild? Not the sort of repair that can be bodged up for a quick fix so maybe the previous (repaired?) faults were unrelated. At a guess maybe run without oil -not exactly unheard of with kid's bikes.
Without further details it is impossible to advise. Again, what do you suggest?0
