Would you all judge me if I told you I'd started my Christmas shopping in july?

Very sensible I think. I'm sure they put something in the water on December 1st that turns sane, rational people into greedy, grabby, shoving, rude individuals.
Most of my shopping is done either online way before Royal Mail goes tits up or in bits throughout the year, though I have been known to put a gift somewhere safe and forget about it completely until the following year

They got the mince pies out on August Bank Holiday in our small Co-op...I'm in danger of getting Christmas fatigue already, especially having a 4 year old who alludes to it every other day

I started my Christmas shopping by buying two boxes of Matchmakers in the Co-op the other day.
Pretty sure that they're not going to last until Christmas though (the orange ones definitely won't
)
DH eats mince pies all year round. The only time he doesn't is on Christmas Day itself. And that's only because he doesn't have room after turkey, Xmas pud, Quality Street, etc etc etc.
I like the way that retailers put Christmas pictures of holly, trees and so on, on the most mundane of items. Christmas teabags anyone?
