As predicted, 50p items were no good.

Fwiw, Pot Noodle Bombay Badboy is a potential filler vs Waities, no need to buy two;), although you don't need fillers anyway if buying enough different Mullers.

2 x Pot Noodle Bombay Bad Boy (90g)£1.00N/A

You could try to benchmark Sains on the price of one though, though lose the 5p you would have got when M was on 50p some time before.

Here's full comp. vs Sains. I wouldn't bother with Cup Soups, as haven't they been on 3 for £1 (=33.33...p each) some time before? Maybe a misremembering, perhaps it was Batchelor's Tinned Peas - went from 3 for £1 to 50p each (a price increase in effect), but 3 for 1p (33.33...p each) no good anyway, as S/P Peas much cheaper. 3 for £1 vs possible 3 for £1 elsewhere (W? M?) at the moment on those, but, as I suggest, too expensive.

Don't forget do NOT buy any of the own brand items in S!

    Well that was a bargain.

Beautifully cooked steak with homemade chips, tomatoes, mushrooms and onion rings and a glass of wine x2 for £16 with Groupon

It was a pub with log fires and a lovely atmosphere.

Think we'll be trying a few more of these deals:D

So pleased to hear that mr bubbs is making great progress.

    Lovely to see you tyger:D

    Evening

Not had chance to catch up properly today so apologies if I've missed anything important.

Parents evening yesterday went well :) Mum babysat whilst we went and then offered to stay on afterwards so DH and I could go out. We stood outside the front door for a good 5 minutes trying to decide what to do before settling on Ts Extra :rotfl:
Was quite a good trip though as got DS1 a new cycle helmet - a Spiderman one RTC from £22 to £4.50, got a whole host of jam making equipment RTC and some clothes for DS1 in the sale :D

Turned into a bit of a thought provoking day though with lots of sad news. Heard of the deaths of 3 different people in their early 30s all completely unrelated :( Made me count my blessings. DS2 woke when we got home and I was very grateful to be able to hug him tight.

Douh!! Now why didnt I think of telling her that? :o

    :D

:o:o:oI wouldn't. It never goes down very well. Not that I have too much personal experience - it's extremely difficult for the words to come out in the right way orally with me.

I wouldn't quote laws to general staff. Occasionally I might do so to CS and used to in the past but that was before I learned it doesn't go down well* or is not usually the best way of proceeding. There is a lot on goodwill rather than strict law. I'd almost never mention law nowadays (to CSs) and only at a last resort. That if I was ever able to do so in an effective manner, but my Asperger's makes it really difficult (in a number of ways).

*Nearly everyone else, of course, (1) would know this automatically, intuitively and (2) wouldn't know the detail, or name, of the law anyway (a pre-requisite, I would suggest, in order to be able to mention it in the first place).

I was in M&S outlet today. Found lots of good stuff on the 'further reduced' rail, including a nice loungy pyjama top thing reduced to £2.49. I've just put it on........put it over my head, put my arms in and the whole thing just slipped off and headed for the floor :rotfl::rotfl:..........it's a size 22 :o:o. I swear it was on a size 10 hanger :o That'll teach me not to grab anything that's cheap without checking :rotfl::rotfl:

Your evening out sounds lovely TM :)
I'd have definitely had a meal out with DH yesterday if I'd known we had a babysitter. I always forget about Groupon though for restaurants
