has anyone had root canal done, had a bad toothache all week saw the dentist friday and going back tuesday have to decide on root canal or extraction,:eek: I am a big wuss and hate the dentist have heard horror stories about root canal so not sure what to do . its a back tooth and had a bad filling :( so was wondering if anyone had any experience thanks xx

I am the biggest wuss there ever was! I've had about 5 root canal treatments & they've all been pain free. The dentist always gives me enough injection, (can't think of word) so I don't feel treatment. If you have that done & it doesn't solve the problem they can still take it out later if need be. You might also have an infection in the root canal, I did with my last one. If so you'll need antibiotics. I asked my dentist how she knew it was infected & she said she could see it & smell it.
I'd definitely try root canal first. Good luck with whatever you decide x

    Stop lurking......your thread needs you:)

I've rang the police and they have read back the incident report. I shouldn't post any more details. Sorry to sound mysterious :o

Suffice to say that I am 100% happy that the police acted appropriately. Thanks for all your replies

Don't know about being needed - my advice was obviously completely wrong. It seems a little bit of knowledge CAN be a dangerous thing :o

    Glad alls OK though

:rotfl::rotfl:And there we have the Price News drawing attention to the 20 pack at the same price.

My price guide is 5p per pack:rotfl::rotfl: btw, so maybe people more generally than me should lower their expectations a little:rotfl: and go to pay way cheaper than their currently expensive expectations:D:rotfl:. I find that setting targets way below any normal offer and ones that are somewhat unrealistic is a very good way of saving money - it certainly alters the mindset to see virtualy everything without glitch as way too expensive and avoid being 'ripped off' by any of it:rotfl:.

open your tunnel vision. :p anon clearly stated "if no glitch"
my dear friend, occasionally we do have to pay for things we want. we don't always want to get the stores own cheaper brand you know. ps my target price is 8p I loved getting the free ones with the app so your target price of 5p is still way too much.
but when needs require it I do pay more.
