I'm surprised that Sains. is cheaper than A:rotfl:. Made the right choice, to buy in A therefore, as 10% cheaper with voucher than S, given that S won't give me 10% off their own prices:rotfl: in the event that S. surprisingly:D turn out to be cheaper than A. No glitches, let's face it we hardly ever get glitches on milk, or essentials like bread, fruit or spreads. Getting what I needed rather than glitch items. Seems hardly worth it though for the relatively low APG. The Flora a bit more than my usual price - ages since I last compared vs £1:eek:, but can't be helped when the big I Can't Believe tubs (that were £1.37 expired in M) are not lasting nearly as long enough as I would like - we get through too much:eek: - and couldn't have got any to last much longer than I already had with BB dates.

S/P Wholemeal appearing as Brown is N/A across the board but I like it a bit more on a Sains. comp. given that Basics Wholemeal Bread is 55p:eek:.

6 items on your bill qualify for comparisonASDALogoWhite.gif Sainsbury's

    1 x ASDA Semi Skimmed Milk 6 Pints (3.41L)£1.48£1.48

1 x ASDA Smartprice Wafer Thin Cooked Ham (400g)£1.55£1.55

1 x ASDA Chosen by You Dumpling Mix 142g (142g)£0.70£0.50
    Comparison total (compared products only)£6.18£5.33
So difficult with Sains. being such a blasted expensive store:mad:.

    Results for T
1 x ASDA Smartprice Wafer Thin Cooked Ham (400g)£1.55£1.64
1 x ASDA Chosen by You Dumpling Mix 142g (142g)£0.70£0.51:rotfl:
    Slightly best therefore vs Sains!

Of course Morries don't have Flora Light:
    1 x Flora Light Spread (500g)£1.50N/A:mad::rotfl:

I have known this Flora to return N/A vs Morries some months ago, so it is already a known risk for an M shop.

Couldn't go for Vitalite vs Waities (88p-10%) as would have had to buy yet more items and do a separate shop, buying and paying for yet more.

If I had kids or pets though, specifically a dog, this may have been good vs S:

Butcher's Choice Delicious Dinners Variety (4x150g)

    Store_3.15px.png
    £1.00 16.7p / 100g
    Store_2.15px.png
    £2.36

Just ignore the word "Delicious" there;), it's just a tactic to try to get you to buy something - without that word it reads perfectly well the same!
However, I suspect I look for £1/kg or below prices rather than expensive £1.67 with 10%s off.

Tommee Tippee Essentials Feeding Spoons 6mth+ (6)

    Store_3.15px.png
    £1.00 16.7p / Spoon
    Store_2.15px.png
    £1.00

But I suspect own branded spoons are cheaper elsewhere (50p?).
  • I just remembered my local McColl's had 4 packs of Branston Beans for £1. Bargain! :j
(Their website does say selected stores only).
"I expect to pass through this world but once. Any good, therefore, that I can do or any kindness I can show to any fellow creature, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it for I shall not pass this way again."

    Stephen Grellet, (1773-1855).
  • Which Tuna did you get Lisa?

I got the princes tuna chucks in brine, pack of 4

Hopeless again:(. Further expensive crumpets, at 50p a pack:eek: and having to buy 2 packs, costing 63p more than getting a single S/P Crumpets pack (and perhaps a little more still if include 10%), albeit getting twice as much but, let's face it, no-one really needs that many:eek: crumpets! Other wastes of money that I suspect they never intended to buy when they went out to the store, such as the expensive Haribo and the expensive Toffee. Why have that? S/P Toffees 29p (34.8p/300g but much better to avoid having an extra 50g simply to get you to consume more). (T Eday Value, non-comp., slightly cheaper.) Shepherd's Pie is v. dear, given that S/P Cottage Pie (vs M) is 71p and even that should be waited until it's 60p or less again before buying. Maybe slightly bigger CBY, but even that isn't offset by the price.

Ridiculous price on bread, as well as Cadbury's Fudge (another tempting money-wasting IMO item). And, shouldn't buy expensive bottled water either (even S/P) but should just have tap water (hopefully in an unmetered area). And amazingly - or not - we know why that is - it's more than 10% cheaper great news! Still a complete waste of money IMO.

7 items (5 different) on your bill qualify for comparisonASDALogoWhite.gif Tesco

    CheaperSignBlue.gif+£1.39
    2 x ASDA Smartprice Still Water (2L)£0.34£0.34
    1 x Cadbury Fudge (6 per pack - 147g)£1.00£1.39
    2 x Kingsmill Crumpets (6)£1.00£1.20
1 x Roberts Bakery Mega Thick Sliced White Toastie Bre...£1.35£1.35
    1 x Haribo Funny Mix (200g)£1.00N/A
    1 x Thorntons Original Special Toffee (300g)£2.50N/A
1 x ASDA Chosen by You Classic Minced Beef Hotpot (400...£2.00N/A
    1 x ASDA Shepherds Pie (450g)£1.50£2.30
    Comparison total (compared products only)£5.19£6.58

:rotfl:Thorntons Original Special Toffee 160g apparently £1.00 in M or Iceland:rotfl::rotfl:. So, two of those bags (rather than an expensive box) would have done the trick for 20g more for 50p cheaper. However, stick with Eday Value:rotfl:!

good morning everyone x hope the elite are well

hugs to tweets hope you are feeling better soon and mum is on best behavior for you today.

I will feel better when my coffee's been drunk and I have had a bath :)

Been busy today at mums knackered now

Had to go Mr T for a 6 pack long life milk and 12 pack small bottles orange juice things had to carry in left hand didn't want to hurt right shoulder and it hurting. :(

Then gets back hovered and dusted which I do every Sunday
She had been whinging to me about bro ringing her and saying he working everyday and she doesn't believe him. This why I had to go Mr T .

Also he fridge/freezer warm at sides been like that since she bought it told her ages ago mine isn't nor work ones. So she asked bro pull fridge/freezer out so she could look at the back he refused because he said his is same. So that was another job she had me doing . Was easy taking out but took me ages pushing it back into its space my strength had zapped by this time. :(

Also she was saying something about her tv banging now and again bro refused to look at this. I told her I couldn't look this week but would next week. Will have to take plugs and wires out of sockets and put back in same place and pretend I am fixing it. ;) How I can fix it when it doesn't bang when I am there :D
