Just to confirm-my comment in relation to pity they didn't back down was aimed at the council not enforcing a permit zone, I think you misinterpreted that......
So you find it amusing that someone else's property got damaged intentionally because someone did the same to you? Very childish
Thanks for your opinion.
I don't know about other people, but when I heard Tesco's chief exec. saying that to describe him as disappointed would be an understatement, I found that quite funny. I know I ought not to - if profits are overstated or figures not accounted for correctly it is a serious matter - nonetheless there is perhaps an element of schadenfreude to me that rather enjoyed the chief exec's beyond-disappointment. We all sit here (or maybe we don't, perhaps it's just me:rotfl:) watching other people and how they behave, and the bizarre opinions they sometimes hold, in normal life and also watching like 'actors' on the public stage, those people whose statements become newsworthy. It's very interesting watching other people sometimes, and the muddles they get themselves into and watching two (or more) people, in normal life, getting into quarrels with each other. Sometimes - let's all admit, we all do - anyone that says otherwise or won't admit it is a liar, liar, pants on fire - it can be :eek:fun watching other people having arguments with each other, from a safe distance. The 'fun' being that I'm not involved and bemusement at what all the controversy is about. It's 'fun' (not quite fun, perhaps that's the wrong word) sometimes the tiny little things, or seemingly tiny, that cause others to have quarrels. As long as I keep a safe distance and never express any of my opinions to any of the parties ever at all, because you're not allowed to express your opinion in a society like ours!:D (We can all have a snigger in the back though, when none of the people involved are present - because, apparently, that's acceptable:huh::rotfl:.)
Often I'm placed into a watching role in any event, as people very often, in normal life, through no fault of their own or mine, ignore me. They don't even realise I am in the room:eek: - or at least don't seem to - though the fact they don't see that I am there can, sometimes, be a benefit!:D:rotfl:0 -

Good Evening
I have to say I would be inclined not to use it and take the hit for being forgetful. Id hate the thought of an SA getting into trouble for not checking the dates. I know they're supposed to and its them not doing their job properly and all that. I would feel bad if someone else got grief for my mistake. But that's just me.
Well this cold thing still has a grip on me. I've felt very poorly todayI've not moved off the sofa except to pick the kids up.......not like me at all  Im hoping That's the worst of it today and I'll get up tomorrow and spring back into shape
