I have already been unlocked, hahaha.
I saved up 14 candy lollipops (the booster wheel was being spun daily to collect as many goodies as possible), so I could get rid of normal candy blocks to get 2 strips together.
I had just 1 move left once I had done the 10 double stripes. The next level is a complete doddle.
I think I will be stuck there til 2020 and beyond0 -

Well it's back from Mr A and the stuck-up old woman at the checkout congratulated me on my APG. It's the young male SAs that you have to watch:rotfl:.
Regarding - sudden change of subject;) - Sainsbobs going to not compare vs T, I'd have thought this would be good for Mr T and allow T to say "We're so much cheaper than even Sains. won't match our prices" and to give a few selected examples showing Sains much dearer (obviously not the Ariel or whatever it was that featured in a Sains advert - S at something like £4 and T at probably £8:eek:).
As for Mr A being the "benchmark", I wonder about a store pinning itself to a competitor's pricing like that, as well as sugesting that Mr A is the industry standard and thus giving importance to Mr A's prices. Why would somewhere want to give more credence and importance to a competitor like that? And - surely the benchmark is Aldi and Lidl?
If Mr A is the benchmark though (or we might even say "As Mr A is the benchmark", thus adopting and taking on Sains' own approach and own argument), I note the following:
Sains A
Broccoli 335g Broccoli 335g
70p:eek: 49p
Nectarine punnet (4) Nectarine punnet
£1.00 84p
Iceberg Lettuce Iceberg Lettuce
70p 49p
Seedless Red Grapes (500g) Seedless Red Grapes (500g)
£2.00 £1.50
Whole Cucumber Whole Cucumber
70p 49p
Radish (200g) Radish (200g)
60p 44p
Cauliflower Cauliflower
£1.00 80p
Root Ginger Root Ginger
£4.00/kg £2.68/kg
Of course Sains. won't need to match those "benchmark" prices! :doh:Oops, I forgot - Sains. quality:(.
Sudden change of topic again:D - they're all buying a carton of Bisto Gravy Granules 170g on the wombles. Or maybe I'm now just noticing it? I have three where they have bought one Bisto - of course they've bought them on a big weekly shop, with lots of other items offsetting:(. Anyone needing proof that the public generally just buy in a very expensive way that runs counter to their own presumed interests and therefore buy in an 'incorrect' manner, in fact make extremely poor economic decisions, incorrect judgements and bad public 'opinion' responses regularly, there is the start! (If they can't even answer general knowledge questions correctly, which do have a correct response, then what hope for anything else?) One of them bought the Bisto a couple of days ago, at the wrong time again, but the others were today. So, across three shops, none of which give anything back, that is a total of £3.00 'lost' to Mr A. As opposed to approximately £1.67 if it were 10% cheaper than T's price. A total extra payment of about £1.32 to Mr A - those shoppers like those expensive £1 prices:rotfl:, as they (wrongly in my view) perceive them as being good value - across just three shops (let alone the millions of transactions that take place) and on that one item. Yes, millions of people can be wrong:(.
Of course, if the Bisto pricing situation was to arise in the future, Sains. can merely match A's price of £1 (which they have already, thus £0.00 to the BM) and not have to match T's 62p at all.
I did, btw, spot some possibly 'good' Svs T items 'the other day', so I will probably have another look for them and do the very last Svs T list for the next day or so. Not that anyone should buy in S if they were never planning on shopping there already.0 -
