All caught up, at last :j

I too have problems with parking, well, other people parking. I live in a Close with 6 houses in it. Situated between primary and middle schools.

Whilst I don't mind mums parking on a school run I do object when they leave their cars all day and park blocking my drive  I politely asked the culprit if she could park on the other side of drive way so I could get out.

Her reply to me was "you shouldn't live near schools if you have a problem then". I wouldn't care but we've lived here 28 years, all 4 of my boys attended both schools :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I agree, if there was a driveway I wouldn't park blocking it, but there isn't in my scenario.
i would be happy just to be able to park in my street at times!!the station has been there since victorian times.the issue is when parking on the carparks was free the problem wasnt so bad but since the council started to charge people do the same as you.we have been in local press and local radio, the council refuse to do residents parking.i will say you are right to be concerned as everyone in my street had a letter from the police as someone had returned to their car to find the locks superglued up,no idea who did it but made me smile.

Pity they won't back down to you.

However I fail to see what is funny about criminal damage, and the offender not having the guts to approach the owner of the vehicle.....just because people don't get their own way they thing it is ok to damage someone else's property????? Beyond me...

Thank you so much for kind messages and songs.

Locarr as far as him telling me goes, we always said we'd still talk, even if we weren't seeing each other. Then again, he also said if he settled down he'd want to settle down with me so that's how much stock I'm putting in his words right now.....

It's just bizarre to me that we were texting each other in August and he didn't think to mention it. And since I ended it he was always the one who contacted me. So far from thinking he'd moved on, I thought he was staying in touch because he was going to attempt a reconciliation.

I agree with JJ on the difference between men and women here. Night and day.

Awww Emma. Big hugs. Just look on the bright side if you can. At least you are not stuck with an indecisive moose.

There is a lady I work with who was in a similar situation to you. Her ex partner is on woman number 6 now. He keeps changing girlfriends. Funnily enough, he got in touch with my colleague recently and asked if she wanted to date again, but she told him to fork right off. She has found someone else and is so happy with him, in fact they are happily married.

That man/moose you were with was probably not the one for you. I am sure in a few months/years time you will look back and laugh.

Just think of all those other hot dishy men waiting out there for you in the big wide world. :A:A:A

hardly backing down,i too pay road tax and council tax does that not entitle me to park where i would like to park.
maybe if the person who drove into our car and caused all the damage had had the guts to come and tell us it maybe not so amusing.
i will say no more as you obviously have your stand point which is completely different to mine.

Thanks where? cant see it, can you bring the link over please?

Greggs rewards are offering everyone who opens a Greggs reward account a free hot dog or a free cheese and onion pastie you do not have to put any money into this account I already had an account with them and I received an email telling me about it when you log in it is already there Enjoy.

    How to redeem:
"To redeem your free Hot Dog (or Cheese & Onion Pasty), you simply need to order it and tell the Team Member at the Greggs shop that you are paying with Greggs Rewards. You then generate a code (8 digit or QR code) through the Greggs smartphone app in the usual way or online within the Greggs Rewards pages. Inputting the code will identify you as the Greggs Rewards account holder and the promotion will automatically be applied, so that you can enjoy your free Hot Dog"

You'd tell the staff member that you're going to pay with the Greggs app.
On the "rewards" tab, you'd click on the blue "press to spend now" box .
Show them the phone and they'll do the rest.

I haven't touched 655 for a few days now, waiting to get enough of the right boosters to enable me to do it, playing with Odus in the meantime :)
