Ooh me please dusty I've got the munchies today and I'm tying to be good so a virtual one is ideal ;)

The rain washed the sky clean here, too, pigpen so I'm going to risk allowing ted out of the house but only attached to the washing line with a peg :rotfl:

Must get sausages out of freezer for dinner, and I'm thinking of having an omelette at lunch. Or maybe make some mini omelette frittata type things - ooh I have frozen peppers I can use - might get some out to thaw. Asparagus and pepper frittata. Mmm sounds good to me.

Just waiting for works laptop to download a report and then I'll continue with paid stuff.

Maybe ted, can make a 'camp' in the conservatory, for when the kids get home from school, and show them what the wild west is like! :rotfl:

    Daily stuff all done
Forms for a money shuffle done as it is pay day soon! I have found if I allocate money in advacne of having it, it gets moved by me to the relevant account and stays there, if I do it ad hoc, them it goes 'missing' :rotfl::D

    Morning all.

Not much flying going on here atm as I'm not well. Spent Monday in the doctors and yesterday just disappeared. DD had a 'cold' on Sunday and was over it by Monday, I came down with it Sunday night and I'm just feeling worse as the week progresses, obviously I must be more run down than DD :( So I'm taking it relatively easy.

Today's planned jobs are to clear the washing up pile (literally 12 items if that, one of which is the stubbornly stained slow cooker crock), and the laundry. I have 1 wash load to do of towels and some bits drying on the maiden and a pile of ironing which needs clearing so I'll do it in stages. Already have meals planned (lunch is left over bolognese from Monday, tea is curry) as I can't taste anything :( Tomorrow I have work and DD is off in the afternoon, and on Friday for inset so she can help me clean then ;)

Off to have a hot chocolate & get under the quilt for a bit until the TD is finished. On the plus side I'm clearing loads of programmes from the dvr ;)

DS1 helped me do the hall and living room yesterday, and also rehomed spiders and dewebbed.

I need to wash the covers from the second sofa, but it doesn't look like very good drying weather today - I think it's just started raining.
Living room is an ongoing challenge, as far too cluttered. DS1 runs his business from home, and living room tends to become the packing station. I also have too many books. (I won't include all the knitting stuff - that's essential!)

I think I'll pick off a few unfinished jobs from the list - after coffee.

Best wishes to all of you that need them today.

What is so wonderful, and it only occurred to me while I was watching it, is that it really is true, 'We will remember them.' It is 99 years to the day tomorrow since Kenneth Robinson died - this link went live this morning.
    Better is good enough.
  • Hello all

Bossy - really pleased Ted was found
Nicki & Mumto5- hope you both feel better soon
Dusty - hugs, hope the wine helped you sleep

Not really flown much for the last couple of days, had Monday off the paid stuff, so went to Dune!m and brought some bits to make the finishing touches to my bedroom. Got some fabric and made cushion covers.

BM was on overnight, so fresh loaf was left cooling when I left for work.
SC is on with spag bol.
    Washing up done

    To do:
    Tax car
Put thermal curtain linings up in my bedroom
Change to winter duvet - was cold last night
Remake bed in spare room 2

    Have a great afternoon all
