  • Agree, look up techmoan on youtube. I have the Mobius 1080 - very small, good quality recording, you do have to get close to get a number from the plate though. I have mine where I plug it into the cig lighter every time I get going, I forgot to plug it in once, and then went into the ditch....

  • Ive decided to buy a Nextbase 202 lite, I pick it up in a hour, the reasons behind my decision I'm limited to buying nothing off the internet, I don't have a bank account, and I have done the rout of buying off other people card, only to have a fault return it and then be stiffed for the money as its refunded back to their card and got swallowed up in bills and had to wait for the money back in dribs and drabs. Halfords were nearest store to have stock of anything, did check out the mio miview pcworld curry's seems the order them in then to collect 7 days waiting time on that one. did look at the HP f200 no stock anywhere in argos, amazon had it the cheapest again I cant shop online so that was thrown out.

I don't drive often, not so much during the night time, im not going to need to upload stuff to youtube to appease an audience, all I need it to do is record, start, stop I don't need fancy GPS, I don't need fancy MPH on screen I don't need audio. I got a cable with a 90deg angle for the reported issue of windscreen cable contact here somewhere so ill use that to correct the issue. looked at some downloaded footage of the nextbase (as youtube compresses the file and quality is lost) 202lite, it's about 15% more clearer than you get in the 720P youtube video's due to compression, I also notice people used class 4 SDHC card in them witch makes for stutter image quality, so I have a class 10 32GB card here to work with.

ill check in after a few days let you know how I get on.

Audio is handy even if its muffled and rubbish. If you have an incident where the other party claim to have sounded their horn but didnt the audio would prove that.

Although that can be edited in or out with suitable software.
