Another humid day today. Bedding all washed and ironed. I made some apple pie things this morning and a big splat for DH.

Hester - to you, your daughter and family on the safe arrival of your new grand-daughter :T! I bet your daughter finally had a good night's sleep last night - hope that continues once she's back home with the little one. Don't forget to let us know when they decide on a name.

to everybody who's not well just now.

I've just had my first solid food in two days - Crackerbread crispbreads with Chicken Paste on them - keeping fingers crossed that they 'stay put'. I had a Chicken Oxo in boiling water at lunchtime, and that managed to stay down ...............

Hope all soon settles down for everybody North of The Border - the mud-slinging and bad feeling doesn't do anybody any good ................ I'm just praying that the all the politicians keep their promises and remember that it's THE ELECTORATE who put them into their 'Positions of Power'.
