Morning all,
up bright and early this morning ive got a lot to do today. The housework got pushed aside yesterday as I had my Grandson for most of the day. Sat in bed for awhile watching Sky News reports on the Scottish Elections.
Good to see Mrs Mortenharket on Facebook waking up with her 'perm' and cleavage..... I just woke up with a cleavage cause my hair has fallen out with the rest of me. I shall be deleting my contribution to the thread shortly as ive got a feeling that thread is going to go on all day.
Doctors appointment at 5. Discuss blood test results and the rest.
Onwards and forwards,
have a great day all,This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Hi everyone,
TTFtM - you're welcome, ask away, I'll help if I can.
Hester, congratulations.
I wonder how long we'll have to listen to analysis of the referendum?
I have a job to do for the Good Neighbour scheme I belong to this morning, taking an old lady shopping, although if it's raining I might ask her if she wants me to go for her.
DH has failed epicly this morning, leaving his work laptop and mobile at home. I just hope he has lots of meetings otherwise he'll be twiddling his thumbs all day.
Still madly trying to finish the baby quilt, not helped by having to unpick several blocks I put together wrongly.
Have a good day.0 -
Good morning,
I loved the Fonz and he actually seems to be a very nice person. I know he does a lot for children with dyslexia.
Pouring with rain this morning, must pop to cashpoint at some point. Did 2 loads of washing yesterday so only have what we took off last night, so won't bother with a wash today.
Many congratulations Hester on the birth of your new granddaughter.
Judi good luck at the doctors. We had blood tests 2 weeks ago and haven't, as yet, received a call from the surgery.
Have a good day everyone

Morning (((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))) if you need one.
Its another misty morning here, we should have been going away for a couple of days in the caravan, but it was sold on Tuesday, so this weekend is going to be a 'do nothing' weekend.
I do need to make ginger biscuits and also a cake of some description.
Thankful that the Scottish decided no, I was staggered at the hostility shown to voters, they live in a democratic society.....but then I suppose they could say that they were following their leader. What I think about him is unprintable.
TTFTM any questions about machines, sewing or quilting generally please feel free to contact me.0 -
Morning all,
Horrible grey day here! Was up all night watching the results arrive, can't deny I'm disappointed but the future won't be decided in a day but on the days from now and onwards.
Hester, glad to hear the safe arrival of your DGD
Deleted_User please don't judge all YES voters on the minority, some of us only wanted to be able to make decisions for ourselves. It wasn't about being nasty to anyone. I'm also not Alec Salmonds biggest fan but it wasn't about him. Frankly the options available in Westminster at the next election fill me with dread.
Won't be much on today here, am too tired for anything interesting. Planning a quiet night in with the BF and a relaxing day tomorrow. Luckily it's a public holiday Monday so a long weeked to recover my sleep.
Hugs to the poorlies or anyone who just needs a pick me up.
