Debt Enforcement & Action Ltd Final Reminder Before Court Action Letter

            I too have received one of these threats from DEAL.
 I've followed advise to ignore all previous threats although that seems to have changed recently.
 Attached to the threat as described by OP, is a mock up of an N1 claim form. I noticed Marks reply about complaining to the crown court service regarding this, and so done a little research.
 I came across the Forgery Act 1913 and found Section 3 Part 3a particularly interesting..:
 Forgery of the following documents, if committed with intent to defraud or deceive, shall be felony, and punishable with penal servitude for any term not exceeding seven years :—
 (a)Any official document whatsoever of or belonging to any court of justice, or made or issued by any judge, magistrate, officer, or clerk of any such court;
 The 'N1' form is clearly false as a real copy is available on the Justice.gov website (cant post link as I'm a new user)
 As this is clearly being used to deceive, I wondered if this law is applicable and whether or not to return a threat to DEAL and see if they shut up and write off any 'Debt' before making a complaint to the courts?
 Any thoughts??0

            If they are saying 'here's a copy of an N1 that we have completed with all your details and the claim etc and we are about to post unless you pay up' then that's not lying is it??
 IMO it's sneaky, but not illegal.0
