Dialaphone Redemption Scheme
Hi all,
I am on a redemption Scheme with dialaphone, which has now gone into administration (phones4u).
I have tried to call them several times but no help whatsoever, will I still get my redemptions or have I now lost the right to claim these back?
If so, can I cancel my contract as this has been breached?
I am also with EE/Orange and I understand that they have 'broken the contracts' by increasing my monthly payments by 27P or so.
It would be good to be able to close the contract and start fresh, with a new phone, elsewhere.
Thanks all! :money:

Your contract for the cashback was with Dialaphone and has nothing to do with the your network (EE).
It's looking like all the P4U company's are gone, so your cashback from them is a fading memory, sorry.
Take a look at the main thread on here, there's lots of info there...0 -
Great lol - however, I understand EE have broken their contracts by over-charging monthly bills also?0

When the the amount go up? You only usually have a certain amount of time before you are deemed to accept the rise.0

I think it was May0

You have 28 days to do something. If it was May then you're well over the time.0

Re redemption contracts see MSE article: Cheap Mobile Phones Compare, switch & use cashback
The cashback deal's with the retailer, the tariff with the network. Even if it goes wrong, you still keep the tariff with the network. Sadly, cashback retailers can and do go bust; if yours does, it'll be tough to recoup. Yet don't forget the networks encourage these deals, and if you believe you've been unfairly treated, a strong letter to the network asking it to step in may be worthwhile.0 -
After ringing up Dialaphone's customer services today, I was told that more information and a decision on cashback will be made in 7 days, and that until then, nothing has changed with relation to making cashback redemptions.
So I'm assuming for now, you can still apply for it...0 -
You can apply - just don't hold your breath!0

I am in same position as you...my best wishes go out to all of the staff at phones4u / dialaphone...
I too called them yesterday and they said that we would hear in seven days too. I am sure that we will get an answer from there, but am not holding much hope...0 -
I just found out that Dialaphone won't honour their redemption payments, so contracted my mobile phone provider and explained the situation, and they were very helpful and have reduced my bill to what it would have been had I received the redemption payments.
Definitely worth a try...0
