oh right thanks, I have read the newbie thread but there are so many different abbreviations it's quite confusing! sorry!
yes I sent the complaint to the pub but by email as I don't want either them or the parking company to have my address.
They do say that they can obtain keeper details from the DVLA on their website though but like you say they are not memebers of the trade bodies so it would be difficult0 -
I just had this reply from the pub
The parking contractors are third party agents and therefore any representations should be made direct to them , as we are unable to cancel or act regarding any tickets issued.
Please therefore respond via the email address on the ticket or on one of the ten parking signs located in the car park.
For future reference, bear in mind that if you use the pub at the time of parking, by obtaining a till receipt (time date marked) this can be used as proof that you visited the pub other than to avail its car park.0 -
Won't be going there again! That is utter nonsense. Yes it is a third party contract, it who made the contract with them?
It was probably the manager that out the ticket on!
If it is a landlord, then I would be emailing the brewery etc with a complaint too.,Newbie thread: go to the top of this page and find these words: Main site > MoneySavingExpert.com Forums > Household & Travel > Motoring > Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Click on words Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Newbie thread is the first post. Blue New Thread button is just above it to left.0 -

so , which part of , wait for the NTK did you not understand ?
not going to happen if they are not in a trade body is it ?
as mentioned above, never say never, because proserve manage it, but extremely unlikely seeing as IPM are not members of the BPA or the IPC0 -
correct, which you mentioned in the opening post
once we decided it was not SIPS, then its not a trade body issue , which you correctly pointed out when you said IPN isnt a member of a trade body
as the advice is almost always WAIT FOR THE NTK, (which we dont think will arrive) , then dont believe all the bluff and bluster which is designed to entrap you into giving away the driver details , that is the whole point of their appeals process, its designed to entrap the driver into giving away their details
hence why you wait as RK for the NTK0 -
ok, yes I will wait for the NTK (and hope it won't arrive!)0
-
they have 6 years under MCOL statute to pursue the driver , hence why you dont admit to being the driver
as they are not in any AOS, in theory they cannot get RK details or hold them liable under POFA 2012 because they are not following either option , so they are using the previous options like in scotland and wales where they cannot get RK details and so can only pursue the driver, but they have to know the drivers details to do so
my confusion earlier was they use a similar name to all the silly ones SIPS use , plus I thought you had omitted the word Simple from your posts , using similar trading names causing confusion as its the sort of enforcement SIPS employ too , but they are in the IPC, this one isnt in either
so its play the sotland version of IGNORE the ppc and let them pursue the driver, oh dear, they dont know the drivers details and cannot use POFA 2012 , oh what a pity

ok great thanks for your help, unfortunately my boyfriend has just told me that he sent an email to their appeal email address earlier on. He has written it indicating I was driving, although the only details they would have is my name. Now I am worried as they have my name/email address?0
-
tut tut, given the game away due to a rash knee jerk decision
hope he will pay the invoice then seeing as they have the drivers details
typical reaction, they want this type of blood boiling , rash , "I will contact them NOW and sort it out" reaction, pays for their new cars and spanish villas
some of these people may be called STUart PIDdington , or STUPID for short
