    My Debt Free Diary (Link)
  • Hi Monz,

Thanks for sharing your diary, I'm a single mum too so have loved reading about other single mums experiences on the site, although sorry to see you're having a tough time lately.

In case this helps just wanted to mention that the nursery should be able to issue you a statement showing all your payments from start to finish, the whole time you've used them, on the dates they received. I had to get this once for TCs. That way you know exactly what payment they don't think they've had and you'll be able to prove that you have paid them.

Sorry if you've already thought of this but I thought I'd mention in case as sounds like you have a lot on your plate - good luck with everything!x

Well well well... Got this this morning from nursery

    Morning Monica,

I have now spoken with Richard and the 2 days holiday, that had been added to Connor's account has now been taken off, with the confirmation of holiday dates you gave me; thanks for this.

With this now taken off, and the deposit used to subsidise the other outstanding fees, we owe you £5.87 back.

I can have this put aside for you at the nursery if you wish to come and collect this?

I'm sorry this has been upsetting and stressful for you but I hope this now finalises this for you and you can have a sigh of relief.

    Speak soon

    Jennifer

I am going to tell her to keep the £5 odds and buy the kids something with it as truly I do not want to go back there after all this.

Anyway had a good wee weekend. Was out with my friends.

Update on my friend with cancer - its not good news she was found to have internal bleeding and cannot move her arms now. We dont know why but its not good news i think when Doctors are telling her partner please bring the kids up everyday now though I havent told him I think that. Again i do not know.

The idiot was back from his holidays spoke to him on phone last night was on for an hour n will see him tomorrow.

Thanks for advice everyone and hi sellotape :) x

Yeah it truly is. I was going to hold off the Scottish Power money I was about to receive (anyday now 5-7 days) so now the £74.96 will get transferred as overpayment to my loan and the rest is for my sons birthday party and tae kwon do grading :) xx
