It is shocking isnt it. Well I literally passed out last night. Not due to ordering them or that, think exhausted. Got a padlock for my gate.

This weekend seeing Star Wars Friday night with JP, Saturday got JE all day (sneaking in family lunch my sisters birthday) and Sunday chill with my boy then hes staying at my mums as getting roots done and also JE at night. Finish up for xmas for two weeks woohoo!!

Payday today so next payday is in 6 weeks *gulp* thankfully with JE not as worried but still be tight! 42 days ahhhh hate the difference between pay from Dec to Jan xx

  • Its terrible round here for things like that. Do your local police not provide a safety service? Ours fitter double window locks, door locks and things for me. It's probably worth a call to ask? I worry a lot :o Where I live is rough in general :o So it did help a little.

Hope you have a lovely Xmas if I don't get chance to reply again before the big day x

I dont think they do but will try. I got those alarm things so if your door is opened or windows during the night alarm sounds off and a padlock :)! Will give them a phone call though.

    You as well :) xx

I got my quote. Thankfully I wayyyyy over estimated! So now I have goals. I am going to see if I can book by end of March. I will definitely have the money by then saved. Hopefully that is ok. I sent the email asking. I have made my spreadsheet up to try get this amount :)

So last day of work then off for two weeks :D.

    Goals for 2020 :

    *Decking
    *Driveway
    * £500 my mums 60 (she wants a special DNA history background test - me my dad n sister are putting £300 each to this plus I am going to order the special frame for this)
    *£250 my sisters 21st
*Loft - means I can take everything from under stairs to their and start saving for understairs toilet :D

I will come back to this end of 2020 and hope I have done all my goals and ready for saving for bathroom :) xxx

41 days til next payday and I hope you all have a lovely Christmas and New Year if I do not go on this <3

  • Your goals are great, I should probably set myself some and write them down somewhere so I am constantly reminded of them. Brilliant news on the quote, it's usually the other way around when tradesmen turn up ha ha. I just got paid today too, and the 41 days until the next one is a scary thought, we have our Christmas night out in town tonight so we will all be living like 'payday millionaires', February will be month of living on beans and toast ha ha!

Aw I love mini goals for myself and times for it. Hopefully will have all completed by September they goals. That means from October onwards mainly Birthday and Christmas and from November toilet under stairs hopefully by April 2021.

Then its going to be funds saving for anything. Just for once having money just there. I will no doubt have new goals maybe new kitchen or bathroom upstairs. Maybe even attack mortgage :) xx

Just a quick jump on! Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and new year!

The start to Christmas was amazing my son and I were on the radio and won a home entertainment system and a laptop! It is due to arrive in January sometime.

My bf got me a helicopter ride for us both, a kindle reader, a spider catcher lol, maltesers and 3 bottle gin collection! It was all so lovely oh and a mini Harley Quinn teddy he knows I love her haha

I got him two Celtic games, north face top, beer, split hedwig pop doll, a slow cooker n we have a charity night in March.

My decking fund is coming along good. My goal for end of January to get to £500 hopefully! Keep on attacking it while I can :)

    Hope all is well
