Updated my signature. I was not really doing the 52 week challenge as I know I would not be able to keep up. I messed around with my spreadsheets and decided to do 35 weeks as this would end before I go on holiday in beginning of April. I would raise £630.

With said money I have decided that £300 would go to loan (Can do this beginning February when I get to that amount:)) £250 will be money for me for America. £80 will go to overdraft payment. I shall start doing the 33 week plan where £300 will go towards my sons birthday/party (5 argh!!) and £261 will go towards the loan.

Again I hope I will stick to the plan :) x

Well done on the forward planning xx

I joined the £1 a day challenge a couple of years ago then ended up setting up a standing order to go into my savings account then gradually every week I increased it til I got to £25 a week which it's still at now and it's great should anything come up that needs paying and we aren't scrambling to find a way to pay and tbh we don't miss the money coming out of the bank anymore xx

  • It's always good keeping something back for the unexpected Abba. I try to keep 1k in the bank 'just incase', and currently feeling a bit guilty for spending a couple of hundered of it for christmas this year, but I am consoling myself with the fact that at least I've not put anything on credit (unlike last year).
