Still no word ahhhhhhh driving me mad!

Hopefully will know by end of today if not emailing the mortgage adviser who was lovely to me

I wouldn't worry, these things are constantly held up by one thing or another. It involves a lot of different parties communicating with one another and sometimes people are just slow. There's no incentive for them to be quick.

I almost laid an egg waiting to hear about ours and got so stressed wondering whether it was taking so long because there was something wrong, but there wasn't.

Fingers crossed they hurry up, but try not to worry in the mean time.

Second that, try not to worry.
Worrying about it achieves nothing positive.

As JoJoC said it's all down to the various Depts and folks and the flow of comms and info... one of those how long is a piece of string things.
So, have a cuppa and a choccy biccie and relax...

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

I think it's just Legal Speak for 'don't worry it's in the pipeline', but can understand your worry. It's not for nothing that moving house is up there near the top of the list for stress! If you're really worried ask if you can speak to her. (((hugs)))
