Monz, i really love that you have all these grand holiday plans. Most of the time these plans remain plans for me but it just goes to show when you get shot of your debt and keep a handle on things like you are, you can save and plan for amazing trips like this! Your son will love it!

You will get there Jojo I promise!!! For three years it was a dream for me and my boy to go to Florida but we did it. Hard work paid off but I am determined to get my head down and do it. Show that yes I am a single mum with no help from sperm donor but my boy doesnt miss out on anything or holidays :) xx

It must be even more of an achievement for you knowing that you can provide these amazing experiences for him without help from anyone else, and still manage to save a deposit to buy your own home :) you should give yourself a wee pat on the back! I hope your son appreciates it (or will learn to appreciate it as he gets older).

My husband's dad left when he was about 7 and his mum never met anyone else, so he appreciates everything his mum did for them when he was growing up. Even now, she doesn't have much but she still does so much for us in other ways, it's amazing to see the strength of character that she has.
