I seen this thread and thought you guys could help me. I had the exact same thing happen to me yetserday for £100 bos plc out. I have called bank of scotland and they don't know what it is either. I just wanted too see what the final income in this was for you?

Also forgot too mention i have also just taken out a mortgage and this seems coincidental considering a few other have also mentioned this and have had funds put in to there accounts?0

Unfortunately Shaz the nature of these forums is that a lot of newbies come on here to post a query, get lots of advice and pointed questions, and don't have the basic manners to post back.

I'd be a bit more charitable than that. A lot of people don't know anything about forums, don't understand the community nature and think we exist purely to help them. So a quick google, find this forum, get an answer and move on. More thoughtlessness/ lack of knowledge than bad manners.
Another issue is people may post a question then not log back in for several days. Unlike many of us who may log in very regularly. By that time it is very likely that someone will have criticised their motives, called them a troll or made a comment to the effect that they have done a hit and run. That may well be enough to put somebody off forever.0 -
Hi there. My son has just had the same thing. They have just completed their mortgage with Halifax and they have just had money credited into their bank account. The money they received back was what they paid to have a survey done on the property which was a free survey but they had to pay first and the money would be refunded once the sale went through.0
