sorry for the lack of detail guys, the location was a retail park in leicester, which has three units on it, two are in use and the third is vacant, the vehicle was parked in the vacant lot. the PPC is J.A.S parking solutions ltd, they are with BPA. they are currently asking for £114, must just be a coincidence that it has taken them 114 days to send me the NTK. so to reiterate the question do they have a set time scale in which to send these out, if so is this NTK no longer valid ? thanks for your time and assistance.

It does not make it invalid, it means that the NTK is non compliant if they are citing keeper liabilty. However this does not mean you can ignore it. PPCs have 6 years to chase the driver and if they think on "balance of probabilities " that the keeper is the driver they will continue to chase you for 6 years and in that time potentially take you to court.

So you need to read the newbie thread and appeal.

Are they citing keeper liability? Or is it (as is common with JAS) a Debt collector letter. THEY often go straight to that stage missing out the NTK. It could be a final demand.

If not sure host a picture (both sides with personal info missing) to eg tinypic.com and then post here with http:// missing.

Same as all the other dozens of JAS cases, easily found by searching the forum for 'JAS Staples'. They always send late NTKs and we always win at POPLA.

    hi guys,
I have made the request to JAS to cancel my pcn, but unfortunately i did not do this strait away and due to a death in the family i completely forgot about it, I have made my appeal but it is 31 days after the date on the NTK sent to me from PDC.
I have had this reply from JAS

    J.A.S Parking Solution via eig!!!!!!!!

    Dear xxxxxxx,

    Thank you for your email.

However the time period that I am able to accept an appeal has now passed.

As your case is now with PDC please contact them to arrange payment and avoid any further action being taken.

    Thank you

I know i should still be able to appeal but how ?
I am going back and re-reading the newbie thread, but if anybody has any advice on what to do next and how to do it that would be very helpful thanks.

He's not going to give you a PoPLA code now, just ignore the idiot. He's too stupid to find the Money Claim online website let alone fill the form in.

You can't - you missed that boat.

So you are now following the 'old advice' to just ignore the whole letter chain (but never ignore court papers of course). Luckily JAS don't do court and wouldn't have a clue - and have no evidence - and we help with defences on the odd occasion that a small PPC tries. What do you think we all did just a short 2 years ago before POPLA existed as an option? That's right we laughed at the letter chains as there was no appeal in those days, worth trying. So that's where you are too. I have ignored 4 fake PCNs myself and the sky doesn't fall in - you just get debt collector silly junk mail for maybe a year.

Do not pay. Collect and keep the letters in a file, not the bin, in case you need further help but as I say, you won't get court papers from this bunch. And a debt collector is utterly powerless - no CCJ, no sending the boys round, nothing at all can be done and debt collectors can't even start a court claim - despite what their mad letters will say.

But some months ago jas sold the dept to mil collections ltd, as expected the usual threat letters of court action, this week i have received a claim form from the county court business centre for £224. has anyone else gone through this and have any helpful advice on how to handle it.

Do a search here and at pepipoo for MIL.

You will see lots are going through this now.

And that you have good chances of winning a court case.

First thing to do is simply acknowledge receipt of the claim form (see the form you have received from the court) to get an extra 14 days to submit your initial defence.
