Would it not be an idea , for Ebay to mark items in users feedback or red highlight, that had the above associated with them ?
- so trawling through their 100% positive feedback , would throw up if its a recent trend with them , for what ever reason ( bad postal area / bad courier service as well as a dubious buyer ) and make it glaringly obvious if repeated issues arise ?

As Martin says - please be nice - there is no such thing as a stupid question !

Privacy, the same reason why you cannot search their bid history & see any info on feedback0

Yes that would be helpful :-)
I don't do partials but when I get an INR I leave follow up feedback now along the lines of 'sorry your item was lost, full refund given'.0 -
I wouldn't mind agreeing to share my buying details as an honest Ebay buyer , as I say , it could highlight buyers that are having problems in their specific areas, as well as specific individuals ( referring to non receipt claims )As Martin says - please be nice - there is no such thing as a stupid question !

But it's a useless system if only "honest" buyers opt in. Given that it wouldn't stop these dishonest buyers bidding on items anyway, I don't see what the point is?0 -

I had thought of adding similar that to my feedback voluntarily - but thought it might work against me , in that a scammer might see that as a green light to try it on , whereas if they knew that, that feedback would be highlighted in red for all to see ,might make them a bit more wary , problem then is a lot of sellers might think like that ( not wishing to advertise that they've been turned over ) and not include that information in the feedback left - so a buyers feedback might not show , that they've stuck in 3 or more claims in the last yearAs Martin says - please be nice - there is no such thing as a stupid question !

So one of these buyers wins my item. What do I do? Refuse to sell?0 -
of course not - I believe that you are an experienced Ebayer , but not all of us are , being forewarned etc, in any case I think it would put the scam buyer off even a little bit , in sticking a claim in ,when everyone can see that his claim average is shall we say..above average
( or perhaps not above average , which might highlight something wrong with deliverys in that area )As Martin says - please be nice - there is no such thing as a stupid question !

The scam buyer will just set up a new account.0

Would be simpler if you could just block buyers who have opened 2 or more buyer protection cases or SNAD returns in the last 30 days.In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0
