Send a reply along the lines of 'You are mistaken and I will be forwarding your message to the appropriate authorities if I do not receive an apology forthwith'

It's really not worth getting agitated about.

As an aside I once had an email from Holland & Barrett advising me they had detected 272 entries from me into their competition and had consequently disqualified me.

I wrote back saying pretty much the above adding that I would have neither the time nor the inclination to enter a competition for such a piddling small prize so many times although I did remember entering once.

They apologised profusely and said it must be a system fault.

It was days later when I suddenly remembered I had posted - what must have been a personal link - to a comps site... oops

I've had the same email, only entered twice daily for my self, and I'm absolutely disgusted by it!

Reminds me of an online TV comp I entered years ago.

I was warned that I had submitted too many entries and could be banned from entering future competitons.
They said I had made about 70,000 entries in less than 12 hours. I know I'm quick, but not that quick! I had actually entered less 1,000 times in that period which is obviously a lot but was within the T&C.
Think they were just letting me know they were aware of all my entries, and to slow me down a bit!

I understand what you're saying eyeballpaul, the thing is everyone who has had this email too, who's commented on here, has said that they've only entered within the specific t&cs and haven't had say ten members of their household enter which could appear excessive.
